Tuesday check in

How are you feeling today? To have anything to brag or complain about?

How do you run your household? Are you a homemaker extraordinaire, or do you tend to ignore a little dust and clutter?

Re: Tuesday check in

  • I'm so very tired, my feet are killing me, my blood sugar is low for no reason, and my blood pressure is probably low, as well. I have a couple of sore spots and one amazing bruise on my thighs from injecting insulin. Also, my back is killing me in this one spot, and I don't have a massage scheduled until Thursday. Grumble, grumble.

I tend to keep most areas of my house spotless. But I have designated zones with the clutter is allowed to pile up, like my desk, where papers are precariously balanced.

Is it Friday yet? I think that sums it up. I found day care!! *happy dance* I was pretty stressed about that; everyone I've called has been full. It's a home day care and she's right down the street from the IL's and she's been doing it for a long time. Pretty excited about her but also upset thinking about leaving DD with someone else.

It depends on my mood. I can stand way more clutter than DH. it drives him crazy. Most times I wait for it to annoy him and he'll end up going on a cleaning spree. Not so much lately. He's really lazy lately.

Feeling good.  Yesterday was not fun, and my arm hurts from the nurse poking me in the hand so many times to get my IV going.  However after my message yesterday I am feeling pretty darn good, and so far making some good progress at work! Getting excited for my shower this weekend!

I tend to ignore a little dust and clutter,  Our house is pretty clean for the most part, but I could do better. Working full time and being pregnant, sometimes its all the energy I have to make sure DH and I eat!

I had to stay home from work today. I was up all night with heartburn and acid reflux. I even threw up a few times. Miserable.

How do you run your household? Are you a homemaker extraordinaire, or do you tend to ignore a little dust and clutter? My husband and I fall somewhere in the middle. He does most of the day to day housework since he doesn't work. I am the one who has to wipe surfaces with disinfectant. I can not stand dirty counter tops..

Tired.  DS was up for an hour overnight for some reason, and I had a really hard time falling back to sleep after that.  Plus, my back is starting to bother me.

I'm probably in between on the house most of the time. I love when the house is clean, but between a toddler and 1 very furry dog and 3 cats, stuff definitely falls through the cracks.  I did get rid of all the fur tumbleweeds yesterday though!

  • How are you feeling today? To have anything to brag or complain about? Nothing really to report. I'm tired, we move in a month, and my house is getting more cluttered with packed boxes by the day, which is making me a wee bit crazy.

How do you run your household? Are you a homemaker extraordinaire, or do you tend to ignore a little dust and clutter? I like it clean, but I'm not clutter free. I extrememly dislike a dirty kitchen and dirty floors but a little dust or clutter, eh, no biggie.

Exhausted. I am no longer sleeping, I get maybe 2-3 hours broken up throughout the night and it's making me lose my mind. Work is next to impossible...ugh! AND, I still have a huge bruise on my arm from my GD blood test last week. The nurse wouldn't listen to me when I explained that the best spot to draw blood from me is my right hand, not my arm...she tried FOUR times and then said she "didn't have time for this" and got a second nurse to try. The second nurse listened to me and got it on the first try.

I ignore the little things. My FI is cleaner than I am, in some regards, so he does a lot of the todying and vaccuming. I do the bathrooms, counters, sweeping, etc. We work well together, but neither of us gets bothered by a little bit of dog hair or dust

  • How are you feeling today? To have anything to brag or complain about?  Doing pretty good.  Schroeder is particularly active today, or she finally changed positions and I can just feel her better (on Friday, she was head up and facing sideways on the MFM scan, so most of the movement I was feeling was pretty low in the bump).

How do you run your household? Are you a homemaker extraordinaire, or do you tend to ignore a little dust and clutter?  Depends on the area and what it is.  I can't stand clothing and groceries not being put away, but we can go weeks without vacuuming or mopping the floors.  I know that once Schroeder arrives, that will change quickly (especially once she starts crawling).  Dusting - maybe every three months or so.

Feeling kind of icky today.  Heartburn is kicking in earlier than usual and my stomach is just uneasy. Bleh.

I have a high tolerance for clutter but then I hit my limit and go on a cleaning spree!  It would probably be easier if I just kept up with it all the time, but it's just not how I operate.  While messy is okay, dirty is not.

  • How are you feeling today? To have anything to brag or complain about? LO woke up kicking daddy, which makes my day. Other than that, this humidity is killing me.

I am a homemaker, soon to be SAHM...it's a learning curve. Growing up, I always had two working parents so this is a new world to me. Cooking, baking-----love it. I always make DH a good lunch for work. (I have a need to feed people!!!) I'm not the cleanest gal in the world. But everything is germ free. Just sometimes a bit messy.

  • I was supposed to meet with my pediatrician this morning but I had to push that back to next week because of the stupid hearing this morning. Other than that, things are as usual. Getting bigger every day which comes with more aches and pains and less sleep! Yay, third tri!

I'm embarrassed to admit how dirty our house is. I mean, I swiffer a lot and there isn't too much clutter. But full on cleaning doesn't happen regularly. At all. Dusting? Forgetaboutit.(in a Jersey accent)
