Babies on the Brain

Can I be pregnant again or am I just paranoid?

I had a dream last night that I went into the doctor and he said I was pregnant.  I have been ebf my daughter for 6 months on the Mini Pill and for the past two weeks when we introduced solids on NuvaRing (she's 6.5 months old).  Hubby still 'goes' inside when we do 'it' (I know, I know) so my dream woke me up startled.  I took a hpt two weeks ago and it was negative, but I was thinking maybe my hcg levels weren't high enough...am I overanalyzing things?  Here are my symptoms with perfectly reasonable explanations, right?  Anyone else experience something like this?  Sorry if I'm being paranoid...:

1. Missed period:  I haven't had my period start at all since having dd
2. Headaches: dh and I have been fighting a lot lately
3. Mood swings: stress in our lives which causes fighting
4. Gas: more than normal
5. Sore Breasts: bf'ing a teething baby = SORE
6. Extreme Fatigue: have a young baby
7. Cramps: side effect listed for NuvaRing
8. Increased Urination: I drink more because I bf

  • I have been breastfeeding my son for a year now and was on the mini pill up until may. There were a few times when I wondered if I was pregnant and I have had many dreams where I was pregnant. I took a pregnancy test and believed it.... Not pregnant.
    Good luck.?.
  • Your daughter just started solids and you started a new bc. That probably means your hormones are rather whacked out right now which can make you feel pregnant. If you are like me you will feel better if you take another pregnancy test, but I'm thinking the odds are pretty high that you are not pregnant.

  • If you are ebf it is highly unlikely that you have a regular cycle, I doubt very much you're pregnant, especially if you have been taking your pill everyday.

  • @aditigirl & BrownEyedGal949 I understand how you feel sometimes you freak yourself out over things and posting on boards like this can make you feel better. But not when people are ass holes about it. While you probably aren't I know the feeling of constant worry. Don't listen to these rude comments.
