Mine is my first inital, DHs first inital, DSs first initial and our last name initial with the year DS was born.

It's a combination of me and DH's name that people gave us in the military. We were the 2nd highest ranking couple in our command so we were the Sgt's NN.

Hawaii is a second home for me, and mahalo means thank you in Hawaiian. I picked it when I was on the TTGP, and meant it like "thank you for answering all of the questions I am going to ask"

Mine is a long story....

My sister and I (I'm three years older) used to be mistaken for twins when we were teenagers. Except I had blonde hair as a kid, and my sister always had dark hair, right from birth. One day we were going to the gym in town, and she was wearing black shorts and a black tank, and I was wearing light grey shorts and a white tank. I looked at her and go, "hey, look! You're the evil twin!" And it just stuck after that.

Fast forward 10 years, I was probably 27 or 28.... My sister was visiting me from out of town, and we got on the subject of tattoos. I mentioned that I wanted to get one, and she says, "Are you going to get a potato?" It was so random it caught me off guard, and it laughed for about 10 minutes.

It turns out, it was a thing from those old 'Sideways Stories from Wayside School' books we all read in Elementary School. My sister remembered the story of the kid who wanted a tattoo, and his parents said yes, but he couldn't decide what to get, so he just got a potato.

Then that combined with the evil twin/good twin thing... We are one day going to get matching potato tattoos - I'm the good potato, and she's the evil potato.

Since then, I've always used thegoodpotato as my SN. It's just my thang.

DH nicknamed me the giraffe when we were first dating and went cross country skiing. I ate shit in soft powder and spent 10 minutes trying to untangle the long skinny xc skis, poles and legs and find my center of balance to stand up again. He said it looked like a baby giraffe trying to stand up for the first time.

AFM, my DH, DD and I all have the same initials (flame me later, it's not on purpose) and the numbers are my husbands 2 favorite athletes. I stole one of his old SNs when I joined TK because my go-to was already taken.

Mine is my old AOL SN. My best friend in middle school and high school was called Muffin by her parents. After we had been hanging out every weekend for a bit, they said I needed a baked good NN and started calling me Cookie. 0875 was what was available with AOL. I didn't try to get all that creative here either.

Im Jaz to most people IRL. As a child I was obsessed with WB Tazmanian Devil, to the point where my family started calling me Lil Taz. So there you go... Jaztaz... and sometimes my SN is Jaztastic which I often say is my very own adjective.
