Dr. Browns nipples

Hi moms, for those of you using Dr. Browns bottles, which nipple level are you using? We're on a level 2 and his bottles are starting to leak. Is that a sign that we should go up to a level 3? He is a very strong baby who is also breasted so I'm wondering if he is sucking too hard on the level 2's causing them to leak...

We use level 1 and breast feed as well. We haven't had any issues with it so far.

I always heard if you are breaks feeding stick with level 1 because of the slower flow

We moved to level 2 at the recommendation of a Dr. Browns customer service rep. Our bottles were leaking and it was driving me crazy, she said to try level 2 bc he may be sucking too strongly bc he's breast fed. I looked up the nipple/age chart and it said level 3 was 6+ mths. I am just curious if anyone is using level 3 yet.

We're using level 3 now. Just switched about a week ago because she started screaming every time DH tried to give her a bottle. It's much better now.
She went up to size 2 before 3 months and is 5 months now.

DS1 used Dr. Brown bottles for daycare and he used the level 1 nipples until he switched to a sippy cup. He never seemed bothered by the slow flow so we never bought new ones. He was also breastfed when at home.

We're still using Level 1 here. We used Level 2 for a while when she was on Enfamil AR for reflux because the formula was thicker, but switched back to 1 now that she is back on regular formula.

We are on level 2 at home, level 1 at daycare. When he was working really hard at bottles at level 1, we started the switch. Now that he's comfortable at home, I need to take new nipples to daycare.

He's at Level 2 and so far I haven't noticed any leaking. Will be moving to Level 3 when he turns 6 months according to their website.

We are on Level 1 and thinking about switching to Level 2. He collapses the nipple while drinking so he needs to move up. I'm just too lazy to go buy the next size.

I believe Dr. Brown's website addresses possible leaky bottles. When we have had a leak I just unscrew the top and tighten back up and it works fine. We are on #2.
