I hate to break into your previously baby/pump/bottle/nursing/etc. programming, but I've been slightly obsessed and didn't think I've seen anyone bring it up...
Is anyone else going crazy for the show to start? Anyone watching the Comic Con and 92Y panels?!? Anyone else in Facebook groups that have found amazing screenshots of thigh porn (for both Sam and Graham - gotta love those kilts).
Anyway, I'm about to start the recorded stream from the 92Y Q&A, and I'm dying for the first episode, so I thought I'd check in.
Oh,and I finally got DH to read the book. And he didn't hate it! Gave it four stars on Goodreads and I think he plans to read the second (not sure beyond that, but hey, I'm just happy he didn't scoff at it).
I'll just leave these here... I think I need a 12 step program.
Re: Where are my Outlander ladies?
I'm usually an "I must read the books before the movie!' type of girl, but I just don't have the time. Boo.
@njbabymama I can relate to that - they definitely slow down a bit, although I'm on book 7 and still enjoying it overall. I just don't have that frenzied NEED to read like I did with Outlander. I actually paused Echo in the Bone so I could start to reread Outlander for the show.
@katekat8721 Me too! I managed to convince DH to read it, and he initially balked at the size of the book, but he ended up plowing through it with minimal grumbling about romance and sex scenes. From what I've heard from the many, many panels and interviews and articles, they keep it pretty true to the book, so I have faith that it'll all be okay.

I believe Sam is 6'2" or 6'3". Caitriona is tall (former model), so I don't think his size is as emphasized as it is when he is standing next to Diana Gabaldon.
