Anyone else have HG

I have HG and have been hospitalized and was on a Zolfran pump. I am now off the Zolfran pump but still on oral. I have my good days and my bad days. Yesterday was a bad day. Stuck in bed. Today started out good till I ate something and ended up sick. Anyone else can't win?

  • Sorry you're going through that, and hope it gets better soon!
There are a few other girls on the board who are dealing with similar issues.

  • Welcome to the club. Mine is pretty horrible. I am now on a PICC line, and when I'm not in the hospital I have a nurse that comes to my house. The zofran pump didn't work for me. Why did you stop yours?

  • I am HG this pregnancy, controlled with Diclegis and phenergan this time. Zofran just doesn't work for me now. Last pregnancy (last year) I was on a zofran pump from June-September and did oral zofran and phenergan until I delivered. It helped but never got rid of symptoms the way Diclegis does for me this time. I've read that it can go away or subside at different points in pregnancy, for many it gets better I the second trimester. That's been true for me this go around, I started getting better at 14 weeks (just after my last hospitalization for dehydration, 3 total this time) though I still have bad days. Yesterday was one for me, horrible and I really have no clue why. I still have bad triggers and food aversions. There is a good support group on Facebook, Hyperemesis Gravidarum Sufferers and Survivors, there's lots of good info on meds and supplements.
