LO is three months old. Dh's aunt, who is mostly an awesome person but is very pushy, has a history of spoiling all the children in her life. Gives them candy, takes them to lots of movies, etc. Yesterday she mentioned how she had given one of her great nieces, who is the exact same age as LO, a couple little tastes of chocolate frosting! If she tried to do this to LO anytime soon, who has had nothing besides from BM, I feel like I would strongly object. I know it's going to happen sooner than later, so I want to be prepared. My initial thought is that I would tell her no way! But I am curious what others think. I don't want to be overly uptight.

Re: Overreacting?
Well at 3 months old, I wouldn't even give her people food.
I'd make it clear that you and DH are waiting for her to be older to have any food and plan on only fruits and veggies in the beginning.
This. A thousand times this.
This. I'll give DS a taste if I'm eating something mild...chicken noodle soup, mashed potatoes, a cracker, things like that, but never friggin chocolate frosting.
I would just tell her no. My SO's mom told me to give DS a tbsp of corn syrup to calm his stomach. I just told her no and that was the end of that.
SCANDAL!
