Saw my baby today, but due to spotting got put in as a threaten miscarriage..

I know my baby is okay. The heart beat was 130 and I am 7 weeks and 5 days. Do you think that's to low?

    Congrats on heart rate. I was around 130 then...also was 148 at 14 weeks dr said it was still good! Anything from 130-180 was normal...good luck!

    That's a good heartbeat for that stage, yes. Congrats! (The heart rate starts between 90-110 at 6 weeks or so and builds from there, peaking at 9 weeks - 140-180 - and drops down a bit and plateaus after that.)

    I am sorry about the spotting, but hold onto the good news: you saw your baby and baby has a good heartbeat.

    So sorry about the spotting. FX it is nothing and goes away soon!!

    That's a good heartbeat as far as I remember. Hooray for seeing your LO! FX the spotting stops soon.

    At 7 weeks anything above 120 is good :). Sorry the docs are being pessimistic, but they kind of have to be. ((Hugs))

    that's a great HB!  i'm sorry the medical terminology has you down though.  i wish some doctors could be more cautious when telling patients about that, but it's hard for them to be thorough without that.  the truth is, they put EVERYONE with bleeding or spotting down as "threatened miscarriage" (or sometimes another word that is even less appealing).  it's not a nice thing to hear, but they kind of have to do it.  they labeled me the same when i came in with spotting with my son five years ago.  (((hugs)))  it sounds like it was a really good scan.

    BFP 6/29/2013 - EDD 3/16/14 - MMC 9/5/2013
    Diagnosed with PCOS and taking metformin 750 mg  twice a day
    April 2014 -  - 1st ICI Cycle - BFP 5/15/14 EDD: 1/20/15
    A/S 8-22-14 - Its a BOY!!
    12/15 Checkup & heard his beautiful heartbeat

    I had spotting, too, and I'm now 31 weeks! Fingers crossed for you! Sounds very positive!!

    sounds like a good HB to me! try to focus on that and not the spotting (sounds impossible i know), many women spot during pg and go on to have perfect little babies. GL!

    IVF #2.1 March 2015 cancelled due to dominant follicle.

    BFP #6  (SUPRISE!) 3/19/15.  EDD 11/30/15...  CP at 4w2d.
    IUI #2:    Clomid + Follistim = 3 follies. BFN.
    IVF #2.2 May 2015 - horrible response to micro lupron flare protocol: 3R, 3M, 3F. 3dt of 2 Grade 3 embies. BFFN. 

    BFP #7 (beyond surprised again!) 4/26/16. EDD 1/5/17. beautiful betas!!!! and then near-fatal hemorrhagic corpus luteum. turns out baby was ectopic after all; another lap 5/6 (@24dpo).
