do i have reason to worry?

baby hasn't really moved today....I found her heartbeat with my Doppler 3 times but no activity..maybe a little tickle but nothing how she usually moves...should I worry? I drank water and still nothing..

If you heard the hb then.......it's time to think logically. They can tuck themselves in to positions and locations that result in you feeling less movement. If you hadn't heard the hb this might have gotten a different response. But since you did, try to be logical.

I would not worry. Sometimes babies are just quiet and you've heard the heartbeat.

Drink some sodas or a slushie. Then baby will be kicking. I agree with PP, use your logic with this.

There are definitely less active days for us too. Since you heard the heartbeat, I wouldn't worry. Baby is probably just sleeping. Whenever we have a less active day, it seems like he decides the middle of the night is party time, so maybe that will be the case for you tonight too.

My girl has developed a pattern for freaking me out it seems. One day on and two days off. It can be nerve wracking but my guess is that your little one is just taking a break

. You should find reassurance that you heard the heart beat. If you're still worried, call your doctor - that's what you pay them the big bucks for. Hope you get a swift kick soon!

It is my, perhaps incorrect understanding, that the reason we usually don't start counting kicks until Week 28 is because it isn't usual for baby to have quiet days (or be kicking towards your back, which is lighter) - my OB still says there could be days I don't feel her at all.

Some days my girl is crazy and some days she doesn't move very much at all. I like to think the days she is more quiet, she is busy growing

The same thing happened to me last week. The baby barely moved all day at work then got home and used the doppler, heard the hb. It went on for a few days with little movement, then she went right back to her normal kicking throughout the day routine:)

If you work it could just be rocking them the whole time. I'm on the go most of the time at work and it's not until I sit down and relax does the little guy start aerobics lol. He definitely has quiet days though. But it's like clock work every night now for the past week he wakes up and starts at it about 11 pm every night.
