Chicco Nextfit Zip.. worth the money?

I think I have decided to go with the Chicco Nextfit. They have a version where I guess its easier to remove the cover for washing with just the simple zipper. Its a $50 difference. Im curious to Chicco Nextfit owners already if this feature is worth the extra money?

  • I have the regular chicco. We decided not to spend the extra on the zipper. It's entirely a matter of preference though.

  • DD turns 2 in a couple weeks and has been in the Chicco Nextfit for over a year, and we've only had to clean out the seat once (last weekend, incidentally).

Potty training with a NextFit was not fun. We did have to take the cover off a few times to wash, and it's not easy. DH and I both wish the zip was an option when we bought it!
