baby monitor rec?

Hi Ladies,

Can anyone recommend your non-video baby monitor? For our first we received a very nice video monitor, but it's really not something that works well... this time I'm looking for something low-tech but effective. Unfortunately it's too late to return the old one, but I'd be willing to spend a small amount on a monitor with good range that's just audio...
