TTC After a Loss

2014 State Sales Tax Holiday (NTTCAL obviously)

Hey ladies! Starting today, a few different states are having sales tax free holidays on certain items.  Here is the link if you want to see if your state is included and what they will let you get sales tax free: click here

Most of the states are doing this on school supplies but since that typically includes all clothing and shoes that are under a certain dollar amount per item, it's a good day to go shopping! And if you are in the market for a new computer/laptop, not a bad weekend to grab one. Or by office supplies! And if you are lucky enough to be in Louisiana today, the sales tax holiday there includes all tangible personal property items - so pretty much everything.

So shop ladies! Shop!

    Everyone Welcome

  • Damn it New York you suck! :-B
  • Okay question! Is the maximum amount the amount per item? So for virginia it says school supplies $20... Is that a tax break on any school supply under $20? Sorry... I'm Canadian............tax breaks confuse me.
Yes, for any school item under $20. It's based on each item not the total purchase.

  • North Carolina did away with it this year. So everyone is heading over the state lines. Watch the prices in some things, you can sometimes catch stores upping prices for the tax free days.
