Dd is sleeping a solid 11 hours at night and I couldn't be happier. She goes down at 7 and is up between 6 and 6:30 every day. When she gets up she still seems tired. She has the bags under her eyes and she can be whiny and cranky at times. I've tried giving her a bottle in the dark in case she's just waking up due to hunger but she won't go back down. And she will only nap a max of 2 hours a day. It doesn't matter if she sleeps an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon, if she skips her morning nap altogether or anything in between. Are any other lo's doing this? Is there a way to help her get more sleep so she's not so tired or is she getting enough even though she looks exhausted?

, I always feel groggy for a bit after I wake up. Mine def still needs her morning nap, she would be a wreck without it. ( she only takes 2 short naps ) and by bedtime she's exhausted. The 11 hours plus 2 hours worth of naps should be enough at this age.
Just wanted to add that our nurse told us the bags under DD's eyes could be from low iron as well. But I agree that the transition of cutting out a nap sounds like it could very well be the culprit.
