PSA : Target Toy clearance going on now.

If anyone is interested, Target is having their semi annual toy clearance going on now and there are many items marked 70% off.  Now you might have to search for them, but you could be surprised what you can get.  I got DD tons of Princess Sofia stuff and DS Marvel Superheroes.

Look for the red and white striped price tags.  At the top of the right hand corner will have a number and that number will be the percentage off.  

I spent $80 today and got lots of great stuff for Christmas and birthdays.

    My sale started here a few weeks ago. I got some stuff for the kids last week but it was mostly picked thru by the time I got there.

    At my local Targets ( St. Louis ) it seems that the clearance toys have been marked 30-50% off for a few weeks now.  However, it appears that today was the day that the clearance toys went down to 70%.

    I also heard that some states like TX and MN have a buy one get one 40% off on top of the clearance prices.  So if you buy multiples of an item for birthdays or donations, this could really help.

    Target's toy clearance has been going on for a while here. I've already put a few things away for Christmas.

    Ours was picked over. Reese was wanting Bucky, the pirate ship from Jake and the Neverland Pirates for so long--she has another pirate ship though so even though ti was 22 dollars, I just couldn't justify it.

    If you have time, it wouldn't hurt to check out another Target.  The one I went to didn't have any Jake stuff on clearance but my friend went to one a few miles away and she found a Jake playset there.  Although, they might be hard to find.  

    All Targets are different.  Some Targets will consolidate their clearanced toys to one aisle, while others ( like mine) the toys are mixed in with the regular priced stuff.  I actually had to walk slowly down each aisle and keep my eyes glued for the red and white clearance stickers.  I am glad I did, because if I went solely off of the signs posted on the end caps, I wouldn't have picked up anything.
