been taking these for about a year.  I get them at costco.  You can get 150 for like $14.  Super cheap and no issues with them.

  • I take the nature made and I don't love it. But I take it before bed so I don't deal with any problems
  • @deux‌ how do you check if it's food based rather than synthetic?

I take the Target brand with the separate DHA pill. So two pills. I have to take it between dinner and bedtime. Any other time makes me sick.

    It will say on it.
    Some food based ones are:
    New Chapter Perfect Prenatal
Garden of Life Vitamin Code Prenatal

  • For a few weeks I took nature made Prenatal Multi + DHA. They made me SO sick all the time. Not to mention the taste and size really triggered my gag reflex. I recently switched to Vitafusion prenatal gummies and have had no issues.

If it doesn't specify, it's probably synthetic. If it's food-based, it will be on the label. New Chapter and (I think) Rainbow Light are food based. They're more expensive, but you probably aren't utilizing the synthetic vitamins well anyway. Most vitamins give you one thing - expensive pee!

  • I've been taking the One-A-Day Prenatals.  I suppose I could check in to a less expensive one...

I take these too. My doctor told me go talk them twice a day though!
  • I take a French one...Grosselle and my mom sent me some gummies from the US, but I haven't taken them yet. I have no problems with Grosselle, it's what my doctor recommended, but I'm sure it's not available in the US. I also take an iron (I'm anemic) and folic acid supplement.
  • Similac prenatal and breast feeding is great. I've had no issues with it!! Healthy baby and mommy!:)
