I'm back and I've missed you all! Update to DH's lay-off/job search!

I have been completely MIA for weeks, due to tons of life drama, but I figured I would catch everyone up on what's been going on with me and then I will catch up on what's been going on with all of you! For anyone who remembers, DH was laid off at the end of January and had been home with me and the girls during the last half of my pregnancy. I am happy to report that he was finally offered a job 2 weeks ago, after almost 6 months of unemployment. Hallelujah! It's less money than he was making before, but it's a paycheck and it came at just the right time since his unemployment was ending next week!

Secondly, after having Isaiah, my ICP went away completely and I have been itch-free since the day after he was born! It's been so nice to not spend my evenings scratching the hell out of my skin. The new hurdle now is figuring out which birth control option to use, since anything with hormones can bring back the cholestasis. Ain't nobody got time for that! Ha!

Third, due to all of the financial trouble we've been in for the last 6 months with DH being laid off, we weren't able to renew our lease at our rental home, and this past weekend, we had to move out. With no money saved and no other options, we are currently living out of totes and suitcases at my grandma's house. It sucks and isn't ideal at all, but I'm just glad that we have a place to lay our heads at night until we figure out our next move.

So that is why I have been gone from the board, and I hope now that we are moved and starting to get settled that I can be more active again with everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer and the babies, and I've missed you all! I appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers that everyone gave me when DH was first laid off, and I am glad that I have been able to come back with some good news in that regard!
