How long did you bleed after baby was born?

I was curious after reading one of the posts below, how long did you bleed postpartum and were you breastfeeding or formula feeding?  They say that breastfeeding helps stop the bleeding faster so I guess I was just curious what the experience of the ladies on here as been.  I exclusivly breastfeed and stopped bleeding at about 2 1/2 weeks.

    I BF for the first two weeks and then switched to formula.  I stopped bleeding at about 3 weeks

    BF for 2 weeks, then started supplementing for another week, then went straight to FF. Bled for 5 1/2 weeks, got my first period at 6 1/2 weeks!

    I haven't bled for a week so that is just over 1 week of bleeding for me.

    No longer needed pads at all about 4wks after birth. But it's not like it was super heavy the entire time. The heavy stuff lasted about a week, then it was just fairly heavy for another week, then pretty light, and lastly kinda spotty/off and on for the last week.

    I BFed for one week, then pumped for another 3 weeks.  My bleeding tapered off at around 2.5 weeks, returned at 3 weks, and was gone by the end of week 4.

    I am ebfing and am still bleeding at 8 weeks. I stopped bleeding after 4 days for a couple weeks, but it started right up again and has been continuous ever since. Sucks!!!

    EBF. Bled for almost 5 weeks (but also had internal tearing requiring 27 stitches).  Had first PP period starting at 7 weeks, lasting 12 days, had a break for 4 days, then break-through bleeding for the next 6 days.  Thankfully it's stopped since then (I hope!).

    EBF and I'm still bleeding at 4 1/2 weeks.  How do you know when you get PP period if you're still bleeding?  That confuses me.
