Yeast Infection - Drug rec

I haven't had one of these in about 10 years. Man it sucks. My nurse told me I could get an OTC monistat for this, just not the 1 day version. Any recommendations for one that is the least nasty? I hate the feeling of the goo.

    Uh oh! That's not good. Maybe I should call back? The nurse definitely said an OTC was fine but I thought I has remembered reading somewhere that it wasn't recommended, which is why I called.

    I have a stupid UTI & YI ( I didn't even know it was possible to have BOTH at the same time?!! I must be one of the lucky ones....) my OB has me one 3 different prescription meds to take care of it. So I would talk to your OB (again) because it's a tricky little sucker that can resist OTC meds and make prescriptions not work as well! Good luck!
