  • I loved the insert for my bath tub. It had the neck pillow and was textured to give a massage.

I couldn't stand any body pillow or pregnancy pillow. Takes so long to adjust just right, then I had to go to the bathroom again. Just a simple neck pillow for the hips/knees. Quick and easy to position in the middle of the night.

  • A at least 2 inches thick memory foam mattress pad. I has made a big difference in my second pregnancy, i'm 36 weeks pregnant and still sleep like a baby.

Loved the Gap maternity leggings and the maternity tans from Target... they didn't scream MATERNITY!!!  I also couldn't have lived without all of my pillows.  I didn't buy any maternity pillows so I used about 6 or 7 regular ones.  If I had a recliner, I may not have needed all of those pillows.  I dreaded going to bed that last month of pregnancy... it was impossible to get comfortable!

Bella-band.  It helped with back pain in 2nd trimester, and held my pants up in 3rd trimester.

I had horrible hip/back pain while sleeping. I bought the leach co. back & body pillow and it made me feel so much better! I had a hard time justifying spending so much money on a pillow, but it really saved my life.

  • Bella band, pregnancy pillow, breathe right strips (for sleeping), yoga pants, one splurge pair of maternity jeans!
  • My wife used a pillow ,she always had pain in her lower back.
  • Palmer's Tummy Butter for sure! And mint tea
  • I do the same with my blanket now you can make as much or as little bullk as you want i thought the pillow sounded too bulky for me.
  • Saline nasal spray for congestion, a portable fan for cooling down, ice packs for swollen feet, cheap stretchy shirts to save on $$, frozen yogurt for morning sickness, leggings when nothing else fits or is comfortable :)
  • Lachco back n belly pillow! I'm a back sleeper and this pillow helped to keep me on either side, with out having to rearrange everything in the middle on the night when I wanted to roll over! Also a bed buddy heat pack- just 2 min in the microwave and you have heated bliss!
  • pregnancy pillow (i had the snoogle) was amazing, made sleeping so comfortable especially towards the end of pregnancy.

a back brace if you suffer from back pain, mine saved my back!

pregnancy massages. whether its every month or only a couple times during pregnancy i definitely recommend getting a pregnancy massage, so relaxing and its important to have some 'me time'

a drink bottle. i was constantly thirsty, having a drink bottle was definitely a need for me, especially for when i was out and about.

snacks. same thing as the drink bottle, i was always hungry when i was pregnant, sometimes i'd even keep a little lunch box with snacks next to my bed for when i got hungry during the night

Pregnancy pillow, if worried about looking good stick with dresses in a bigger size or maternity (get a few maternity tops, for the seasons your pregnant in, with yoga pants), don't be scared to show off your bump (go ahead and find a nice bikini, I did!) and just eat and drink healthy!

Edit: Oops, forgot go on and get that back support! It's the best thing I have.
  • The Bella-Band! -Or similar brands that allow you to continue wearing your non-maternity pants for as long as you can. A lifesaver, style-saver and money-saver!
  • Mamma Mio belly oil. It's expensive but everyone I know who used it, including myself, didn't get stretch marks. I buy it for all my pregnant friends. Don't bother with coco butter.
  • The Snoogle! Never had problems sleeping after I got it.

Also, cocoa butter! I rubbed it on my belly twice a day throughout my pregnancy and didn't get a single stretch mark.

  • Giant size flat shoes and sandals. I went up an entire shoe size during pregnancy and my feet doubled in size for about a week after baby was delivered. At the worst phase I had to wear my husbands socks with the elastic cut out!
  • Lorna Doone's was one of the only snacks I could keep down with morning sickness. I also didn't buy too many maternity dresses because I felt like they were too short since I'm tall, so I just went up a size in stretchy dresses I found and they lasted my whole pregnancy and then were perfect to come home in!
    Best of luck

  • My body pillow, my flip flops and lots of oils, lotions and creams for my belly!
  • Big fluffy body pillow, Colace, cinnamon toothpaste - I couldn't stand mint , yoga pants, bio oil!
  • Mother's special blend toning oil. I've had two babies and still no stretch marks. Also Trader Joe's Coconut Butter lotion, soooo smooth on the skin.
  • Maxi dresses and cardigans from old navy. They were so comfortable and I could take the cardigan off during hot flashes. Also light days.

  • Massages & Birkenstocks!
  • I'm with you. I have the leachco pillow. It got amazing reviews on Amazon and they're right :) https://amzn.to/1yUgMCP
  • Maternity camis are nice because I can now wear them post partum while breast feeding so no one sees my deflated tummy.

    Body pillow was a lifesaver.

Bananas...I ate two a day to curb leg cramps and a nice water bottle.

Things that didn't matter until the last week was long shirts. Some of the maternity ones just weren't long enough at end. Also, I wore and loved the Demi panel jeans until the last week when they would cut into my belly so I would suggest at least. one pair of full panel pants

A pregnancy pillow, namely the Snoogle. I wouldn't have been able to get more than an hour of sleep without it, it was almost impossible to get comfortable. I was miserable.
  • chux (like weewee pads) layered on top of towels and a garbage bag, which are on top of more chux...on my bed, couch, seat at work and car seats. Saved the day when my water broke as I was lying on my couch, and continued to gush. I was also able to grab it and throw it in the garbage bag and then bring more with me while I headed towards the shower (don't take a bath if your breaks at home). Then I had extras with me for the car ride to the hospital and I had them on the wheelchair seat as I was in agony being taken into my labor room. Didn't drip at all, anywhere! Stool softeners to begin taking a few days before your due date. Bouncy ball to roll on if you go past your due date, which I am positive helped loosen my plug the day after my EDD and I had the water break 2 days after that, and several friends swore by it too!

  • My Body pillow definitely came in handy (pregnancy pillow, not just body pillow) but i also had about 5 other regular bed pillows to sleep with too!
Slip on slippers that can be worn outside.  My tennis shoes didnt fit anymore so i either wore sandals or slippers at all times.
    Belly Bands!

I bought 1 white and 1 black and was able to get by not buying more than 2 pairs of maternity pants!
