No names officially picked. We went really even discuss them until we find out. Plus I've gotta sit on names a while to make sure the name feels right, so I predict we won't name our baby until late 2nd Tri or even in the 3rd Tri.
DH and I both love the name Autumn, but it's my sister's dog's name. Scratched off the list. :-( I'm glad to see that someone from January 15 will use it!
Definitely not set on names yet, I for sure let the stew for the whole pregnancy plus we will likely find out the sex of the baby (mid August) but if I were picking today it would be:
Boy: Tate Innes or Cam Innes (Innes is my late grandpa's middle name)
Girl: Shea Beatrice or Spencer Beatrice (Beatrice is my grandma's middle name)
DS is Grady William Luke and we didn't have his first name decided until after he was born and it will likely be the same for this LO because we like to see the baby first

Currently though I like
Catherine
Launa
Natalie
Ella
Thats it. No boys names.
I love Ella but our dog is named Bella so any names that I suggested similar to it my husband vetoed.
@YaMrWhite my husband's niece is named Autumn She was originally going to be Temperance Jewel but they changed it two months before she was born.
The only girl name hubby likes is Maggie Mae. I'm on board.
We narrowed boys names down to Jude or Isaac. I'm demanding the MN Atticus. He's not sold on Atticus, but I won't budge. lol
We have a 7yo, Bethany Anastasia.
I LOVE Maggie Mae! I wanted Majorie May for my great grandmother and great aunt nn of Maggie but DH says the Rod Stewart song ruins it for him

I am glad they changed it! I think Autumn is much prettier (and easier to say and spell) than Temperance. -------------------------- Exactly what I as thinking!! (But again, not surprised )
@idontevenknow I've never seen or heard of Clelia before. I assume that's a hard "K" sound at the beginning. So is it pronounced Klee-lee-uh?
Yes, hard K... pronounced klay.lee.uh It's a name, I promise. Although I am scared to show it to the baby name board. Lol!
TBH, when I say that name I immediately thought it was a misspelling of "Celia", and then I thought of "clit". She might be in for some teasing. Just something to think about.
We've pretty much decided on Laurel for a girl, just unsure of a middle. The current frontrunners are Paige and Vivienne.
Girl - Angela (not sure of a middle name) or Sonja Rae
DH's father's name is Angelo and he wanted our first to be named after him if it was a boy or a girl but now he's iffy on Angela. Robert is my father's name. Sonja was my aunt's name, she passed away last year and I would love my daughter to be like her. I liked the middle name Rae with Sonja because together it sounds like "ray of sunshine" to me

I'll let you know how that pans out. I assume the teasing will ensue in high school.
I need to find a baby girl name that I like that's not overused by my section of the world. The suggestions ladies gave on the baby name board were pretty blah.
DH and I both love the name Autumn, but it's my sister's dog's name. Scratched off the list. :-( I'm glad to see that someone from January 15 will use it!
It's too pretty for a dog!
Agreed!! In my sister's defense, the dog was a rescue and already had the name Autumn.
@ICarriedAWatermelon - "Cate" can be a nickname for Catherine! I always wonder why Catherine Middleton uses "Kate" with a K!
We have picked names! I warned DH that as soon as we learn the sex, that child will be named so he's got until August 20th at 8:30am (our a/s) to make any changes or alternative suggestions.
Girl: Carolyn Rose
Boy: Ryan Henry
It's funny... I like Kate but I'm not sure how I feel about Cate. Agree the Kate Middleton thing is odd!
I feel similarly. We're having a girl, and I really love the name Cerys, but I'm not 100% on board with Carys. Both are legitimate, traditional Welsh spellings, and they're pronounced the same, but from my very informal polling, it seems like people are more likely to pronounce it correctly with the "Carys" spelling. This is causing me to lean away from the name entirely, unfortunately.
1/2015 November Siggy Challenge - Thanksgiving Fails
Girl: Evangeline Maria or Eden Maria (Maria is MIL's mother) Hubby doesn't love Eden. I also like Isla Silvana (MIL)
Boy: John Gaetano (nn Guy) or John Claudio. Claudio is my FIL's name. Gaetano is an old family name on that side of the family. John is my father's name and my attempt at making everything sound slightly less Italian (I'm 100% Irish). We have a super italian last name and Gaelic names don't flow too well with it
DD is Gemma Giuliana (had considered nn Gigi, but she is a total Gemma)
We found out we are having a girl so we are naming her Emily Santosh, and we will call her Emme for short. For a boy, we liked Ethan Santosh but we weren't 100% on it.
Re: the middle name: Santosh is my husband's first name. In his culture (Indian), the kids always take the father's first name as their middle name. I think it's a nice tradition so I agreed! (Plus it was easier to pick names!)
Loving all these names! The girls especially are so classic and remind me of timeless beauties
We find out *hopefully* this thursday. It was a long few months trying out and considering names, but we finally landed on them.
Girl - Virginia Jane S. "Ginny" named after my great grandmother Virginia and my Grandmother Jane (Known this is our choice since DS was in my belly)
Boy - Ian Jennings S. Named after my dad (John) and grandfather Jennings
DS is named after family, and I wanted a family name for our second son if this is a boy. But the rest of our family names aren't that awesome. Or at least... the ones I love no one else liked at all. I had Oliver and Levi on my top two. Still love them, but it dawned on me that Ian is the Scottish version of John which is my dad's name, so we went with that!
*My brother has dibs on the actual name of John, it's a tradition that all the first born sons are John
We were going to go team green but we are having such sa hard time with the names we rather not! So,, if it's a boy.. Leonardo, I guess. If it's a girl, , we don't know yet!
Re: Names already????
DS is Benjamin Richard
All are family names
