Ok so question..
My last period started June 26th and I have a average 25 day cycle, I got a very positive pregnancy test on Friday July 18th, I calculated my due date April 2nd, I'm confused bc ppl say you your baby hasn't even implanted in the third week, so is it possible I'm farther along?

This makes it a lot more clearer! Thanks for the input, with my first pregnancy, my first doc appt I thought I was 12 weeks, and they had me at almost 17weeks, so I'm terrible at knowing when I actually ovulate, I chart but not with temps only when my period starts and stops etc.. But I am still trying to figure out when exactly I conceived bc we only BD on July 4th and 5th, hmm.. Guess I have no idea how my body works!

I took a test and was positive I took another that said positive also and told me I was 2-3 weeks .. I've been having cramping the last week which I thought was my period on it's way !! Is that normal in early pregnancy also at how many weeks do you have first scan ? Thanks

Yes some cramping is common during pregnancy.

I would not trust the "weeks estimator" on your HPT as an accurate dating of your pregnancy, as they are known to have been inaccurate.

Typically your OB will schedule your first appointment between 8-10 weeks based on your LMP.

If you plan to stick around, you should try lurking around and little and check out our blog. We have a whole daily thread related to symptoms where you can see what others are experiencing. Our daily ticker change thread discusses, among other things, appointment dates.

Anyways BFP Jul 25th! Complete surprise. Sooooo happy though. We were taking a two month break from fertility treatments. Conceived naturally! Yay!

HI all, I just found out that I am pregnant with my first. I am of AMA and had a miscarriage this past February. This one is due April 1 so I am praying it sticks. My DH is out of town so I will be telling him on Friday when I see him - I made a cute little card telling him that my car is once again a baby-mobile!!

Congratulations everyone!

I just got a positive test this past Friday...still in shock, but super excited! Just over 4 weeks today. It's also my first baby

I had a very early miscarriage last month that didn't bother me at the time, but now am getting paranoid this one won't stick. I know there's little I can do to control the situation, so just looking for some ideas on how not to become too obsessed with this type of worry. Suggestions?

I haven't shared because I want the OB to confirm my EDD, but my EDD based on LMP, April 2, is my late mother's birthday. This is my first and would have been her first grandchild. I know one rarely delivers on their due date, but this would mean so much to me.
