Max has been a cluster feeder since, idk, conception? At least that's how it feels. But recently, he's taken on a new personality and has decided that mama sitting down while he eats is no longer an option. Im used to him being fussy when it comes to eating but jeez, now he wants dinner and entertainment. And he's decided that it's going to be right around 3:30am that this will happen.
My only saving grace is that DS2 has started going back to sleep easily after eating every 2 hours like clock work. So I'm getting about 1.5 hours of sleep at a time because it is only taking me 20-30 minutes to feed, change him if need be and put him back to sleep.
I have to find the little victories.
DH is getting the boys after this feeding. So I can get at least 3 hrs of sleep. He can give DS2 some pumped milk.
Today was my first day with no DH and no visitors. The baby is still alive! Victory!!
We are up with our first feeding watching King Kong. I would like to think that a huge gorilla would see that I'm an animal lover and want to be my friend as well. I wouldn't let those assholes bring him to to city either, what a bitch move that was.
What movies/ shows you ladies watching during feedings?
H is putting Lili to sleep. Last year when she was a newborn I had the Netflix app on on my phone. I would watch OITNB or breaking bad. Hopefully LO will be here any day now. When that happens I'll need to find new shows. Right now I'm watching "fast and loud". Richard, could you be a little hotter?!?!
I'm watching Supernatural on the recommendation of a friend. The Winchester boys are hot and entertaining. Thank goodness for my iPad and the netflix app.
Ugh! She is cluster feeding tonight. I'm so tired! DH is up doing dishes and I'm camped our on the couch watching Switched at Birth. Please tell me she will fall asleep soon!
I'm up. No little one yet, but hoping I get a little nap in with these contractions before it's time to head to the hospital. Today is my due date and I never expected to make it this far, but babe must have needed all the baking time!
LO is so loud as we're all trying to get to sleep and again as she's waking up. I've never been a deep sleeper and I wake up to every single peep from her. It's not resulting in much sleep for me. I had a couple of 4 hour stretches but the last few days we've taken a huge step back to every 2/2.5 hours + all this noise! So frustrating.
Tonight looks like we are back to a nice longer stretch. Midnight feeding and then slept thru until 3:30am. I have a faulty bottle in the bunch that leaks without me noticing until he's done and soaked. So I've managed to pull that lucky one tonight. Had to do a full outfit change and then go down to get a new bottle. Sooo sleepy.
I'm trying a no swaddle approach tonight. He's sleeping in a sleeper only. I'm hoping we can start skipping the swaddle most nights because I'm lazy.
I'm a little embarrassed but I've been watching reruns of jerseylicious (spelling?) the show is so stupid but it makes the time pass quicker.
I have watched 5 minutes of one episode and for a reality junky like myself it was to much. I couldn't handle it! I did however cry watching King Kong when they were hurting him. Why da fuq people gotta be mean to animals? And then I remembered King Kong is not real
Lil bit seems to have caught DS's cold and only wants to sleep in my arms. I am not capable of sleeping sitting in a recliner, so it's been a long night for me...
I'm torn on whether to be excited about how long DD slept last night or mad at myself for not waking her. She slept from 10:50 to 5:30am. It felt amazing, but, my milk isn't in full supply yet so I'm kicking myself for not waking her and missing a feeding essentially. My boobs need the help but mama needs sleep! Ugh
First feeding of the night for us. She had a rough round of gas after she ate. It's looking like she may take a paci. DS never took one so knowing when to give her a paci is all new to me.
I'm really ready to go to bed. She's got some heavy eyes but still seems pretty alert. Maybe I should put some NyQuil in her bottle? I think a poo-splosion may be on it's way & is keeping her from totally relaxing.
Up! I had hoped to sleep till 1:00 after feeding at 10:00, but poor DH came in at 12:15, and said he'd tried like 18 S's, and she was still inconsolable. Sure enough, still nursing now. At least I got an hour of sleep or so. I'll be back around 2:30 @BPaws, how great is Breaking Bad?
First feeding here. LO was up from 6-9 then took a huge poop at 9 and slept till 1. Whaaaaat?! I slept 10-1 and feel great. Please let her sleep till 4!
I thought she was down for a few hours but the second I went to get in the shower she was wide awake and screaming....an hour later she's still wide awake and fighting the breast, really wish she's take a paci

Haven't been to bed yet. I'm sure Lili will wail for a bottle soon. @kwh33ls I know the question wasn't directed towards me. But......Breaking bad was pretty bad ass!! H and I got addicted quickly. The first episode is intense and that's what got me hooked.

I think DD is on the same schedule. I was over ambitious and hoping to get 10-2 as she has in the past, but not tonight. 10-1230, boo! Hope the stretch this one out til 5, wishful thinking, I'd love some sleep.
Poor DH. He goes back to work tomorrow so Im doing tonight solo. Baby woke at 130, and I decided to change him before feeding him so of course he was furious and screaming. DH comes walking in to take care of him - not sure if he forgot or somehow thought I was sleeping through that.
Trying to teach Logan to sleep in the crib and not on me. 11-130 he did really well! Fingers crossed for now!
So sleepy tonight. LO is full of tricks these past few days. He's been eating way less, more frequently during to day and then only a little bit at night. Making me think he's not getting enough and putting me in crazy mommy mode. But we weighed him and he still appears to be gaining.
And he had two huge projectile vomits, one yesterday and one the day before. No fever so I guess I won't call the pedi. How do you know if they are sick or just being babies?
LO slept from 10-2:30! He nursed for a while and took about half of his bottle, but kept falling asleep. I am going to pump and then it's back to bed for us!
2nd feeding of the night and she feels that playing with the nipple shield is more fun than eating. No. It isn't. I am tired. Eat then go the efffff to sleep LO!
First feeding here. LO was up from 6-9 then took a huge poop at 9 and slept till 1. Whaaaaat?! I slept 10-1 and feel great. Please let her sleep till 4!
11-3 for me!! We are making great progress! Hope you're LO sleeps until at least 4!
She let me sleep till 4:45!! Best night by far! Hope I didn't jinx my morning "LOLOL"
Yay! Tonight totally makes up for how crappy last night was! I slept from 9:45-12 and gave her a feeding from 12-1 then we slept till 4:30! We finally ditched the nipple shield so I don't have to pump anymore. She's been nursing for shorter periods too so I'm thinking she is getting more flow without the shield. Hoping to be back in bed by 5:30.
Adelinde slept just shy of 3 hours! Woohoo! DH thought she was getting her days and nights switched since she only slept a total of 2 hours last night. So we are using just a nightlight when sleeping tonight instead of a small lamp. Hoping it's working! Fingers crossed for another 3 hours after feeding!
5:15 am & DD woke up for feeding #2. I put her to bed about 12:20 am but she was gassy & wanted to be consoled around 1 am. It didn't take long but I had JUST fell asleep dang it.
The second feeding is the best because she eats & usually falls back asleep within about 20 minutes.
Hope you've all had a great night & your LO's have let you rest. Back to bed for me.
@Skeemer I had a wonderful night with my babe, this morning however.... She's been up since 6:15 and refuses to sleep again. Gassy, pee diaper change, drink a little, aaaand repeat.
Baby girl went to sleep in the Moses basket instead of on my chest AND did it for three hours between each feeding! Mama feels like she could take on the world.

I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years. And all along I believed I would find you, time has brought your heart to me. I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you a thousand more.
Re: Night crew check in!
My LO cluster feeds and stays awake from 5a-10a and then sleeps most of the afternoon.
Please be good to me today
