Of course he then goes so it's ok to have baby in daycare all day?

They're really amazing dogs! We had a doggy door when we first got ours and started to potty train him. Now that we don't have that hes pretty good about holding his bladder.
My dad has his crate trained. But I wouldn't recommend getting a puppy rottweiler with a new baby. The chewing stage will drive you crazy and I wouldn't want to take the chance of a rottweiler going through a growth spurt then trying to jump on you.
If you do get one maybe look into rescuing and older one? You could also be a foster home for rottweilers to see how it is.

I love my rottweiler! I don't think I've ever owned a dog more intelligent. My husband and I would like to get another one in the future. Although I think next time we'll adopt. I found sparky at a pet store and I instantly knew I had to take him home. My dad had 3 rottweilers while I was growing up. They where the most gentle dogs but they where very protective of me. Sparky's the same way hes very protective of my daughter and even just of our house.
I had thought of breeding him or studding him but I decided I didn't want that life for him so he just stays our family pet.
Something I hate is once I took him to a vet I'd never seen before and made what i felt was a rude comment. She told me i can't believe his name is Sparky you wouldn't expect a name that innocent for a dog like him. I point blank asked her whats his name suppose to be then killer? She shut up and we never went back to her. I hate how any large breeds get stereotyped.

This is my Boston Terrier baby girl Lily. She's been my #1 since she was 8 weeks (she's now 7). My little love bug! And quite the personality (if you couldn't tell by her model-esque pose...lol)
Your pup looks so proper! It's adorable
Thanks! She thinks she's quite the little lady hehe :o3

These are my two fur babies! Tank is an 8 month old boxer, who thinks he's still a tiny puppy. He's such a sweetheart though! Boots just turned 2 on July 4th he's a precious cat that I rescued when he was 4 weeks old. Him and I have been through a lot. When my friends ask me if I'm getting rid of my fur babies before the baby comes, it really offends me. They are just as much apart of my family as our baby will be!
This is my baby Beans. She passed in October of last year. She was my very first dog that was all my own. She was 7 and seriously my bestest friend. I had to add her cause she is and will always be my furbaby. She was a miniature pinscher/ chi mix.
Hi! I'm new on here but I recently got two kittens! The white one is Alaska and the stripped one is Yurei. They will lay on my tummy when I come home almost like they are protecting the baby! I love them both dearly
I LOVE that picture, how cute and creative! What a great group effort! (and I am obsessed with turtles!)
ETA: I hosted a wedding shower over the weekend which included a photo booth rental, so of course the pugs got in on some picture action. What do they think about becoming big sisters? Not happy about it, apparently! (and I'm obviously an editing novice)
These are my boys Ace and Deuce are Australian Cattle Dogs and 8-Ball is an American Staffordshire Terrier.... All great dogs and ready to protect and love their new baby brother or sister!!
Here's our little Remi from the night we got her. She was my Valentine's present. A chocolate lab. So my man could say he "got me some 'chocolate' for Valentine's Day"
