  • I'm ready for a break too! Not only do I need time to get things ready for baby, but we are in the process of moving into our first house. So I'm in super nesting mode! But I'm so tired after working, that it is slow going so far
  • I am so with you. I started getting sick of the day to day BS a few weeks ago. It doesn't help that I often work 10 hour days and while I do have the advantage of working from home and sitting in my sweats - I am still sitting at my desk for long stretches - sometimes 5-6 hours and my ankles and feet keep swelling. I'm also finding I'm more and more tired. Yesterday around 3:30pm I felt so exhausted I sat back in my chair just to close my eyes for a minute and fell out cold for 25 minutes. Fortunately I woke up just in time to dial in for a 4pm call - but I was groggy and out of it and can't recall what we discussed.

I just want to be nesting and organizing and doing all the things needed to get ready for baby and also finding some free time for me - to read and relax because I know when baby comes there will be less of that. Too many days I start at 8:30am and end at 8pm and basically fall asleep on the couch after maybe an hour of sitting after a late dinner and then start over the next day and then my weekends are filled with my to-dos.

Sigh...but I will be working up until almost due date because maternity leave is unpaid - so....as I launch back into my work day - I shall just hold onto the fact that there's only two more months of it. :)

  • I work at a doctor's office-I think it's my
front staff that is making my blood pressure go up and not the patients as aggravating as they are. I literally wake up and dread going to work. These hormones are making me feel like I am the unbearable one lol.

I am getting there. I work 4 10's in a very physically demanding job. So by the end of my days now im exhausted and still have an hour drive home. Right now work is super stressful as our department is only at 50% due to people being on medical leave and vacation. And we are just swamped. Im a Physical Therapist and i love what i do and plan to work up until i have the baby or doc says no more. So hopefully things calm down a bit!
  • I know i am. In a travel agent n sitting at my desk 8+ hrs a day when I wish I was laid up on my pillow top bed watching every movie in Netflix smh goodness I can't wait for my maternity leave to hit in sept

  • @Glas43‌ - I'm a PT, too! What type of setting are you in? I work in acute care and patients are starting to look at me like I'm crazy when I come in with my bump and say I'm going to help them get out of bed
