  • I feel for you. I have one, too, if it makes you feel better (it doesn't, I know).

Other bumpies have posted about this recently and gotten a wealth of info. Here are the links:

  • Baking soda bath was a no go. Hope tucks wipes or witch hazel works. Extremely embarrassed by this and really need the pain to stop
  • Hemorrhoids and constipation are my two pregnancy symptoms.  I use tucks (or the target brand ones) and the preparation h cooling gel- it both soothes and shrinks the hemorrhoid.  I also drink Metamucil at least once per day- it is not bad if you use cold water (like I get mine from our fridge dispenser) and drink it immediately after mixing.  I've found that it helps keep things moving and has helped my hemorrhoids heal.  GL- I know how yucky they feel and hope that you get some relief quickly.

  • If you could get the prescription (even if you had to pay out of pocket) I would do that. Amazing how well the prescription suppositories work. They are especially helpful at night. Avoiding caffeine and nuts will help produce softer BMs. And drinking warm water with a little lemon juice in the am will "move things along." I feel really bad for you - hope you find some relief!

  • Have you tried putting a piece of ice on it? It hurts like HELL but I had one that was getting terrible and a friend told me her OB suggested ice... I tried it twice (once a day, back to back days) and it was gone.

But like I said...it hurt. Really, really, really badly lol
