Who else is still working full-time?

I'm sure there must be a lot of us, but I feel like I see all these posts about taking naps in the middle of the day and it's starting to piss me off - mostly because I'm jealous that I can't! Let me know I'm not alone! When are you all planning to call it quits? I'm planning to work up until the baby's born unless there is some reason I can't. If it gets too hard I may be able to work from home the last week or so, but as of now I'm not planning on it.

I'm a chiropractor .. Still on my feet adjusting patients all day. Everyone keeps asking me when I'm starting leave. I tell them when baby decides to make an appearance. They all think I'm crazy! But in reality, other than fatigue and swollen ankles, it's not too bad. I think it could be way worse and I would be bored as hell at home all day without a baby to care for.

I'm working till Aug 1 (38 weeks) and then gifting myself mani-pedis, massages & pool time until the boy arrives.

But honestly, I'll prob just spend that time packing and repacking the hospital bag.

I'm due the 27th of august and scheduled until the 24th. I have the option to pick up my normal shifts from that point on. I'd love to say I will for the money, but honestly probably wont.

I've been off all summer but am supposed to start working again in a week and a half when I will be 38 weeks. Not sure how it's going to work out.... but I warned my boss that I may just not make it back. (I'm a teacher)

I'm still working and bitter about it. Usually by this time in the summer I'm laid off. I'm in sales for a heating company and on any normal year this would be my lay off but this year with all of the crazy weather all over the country this winter....they decided NOT to do a layoff at all because we still have lots of "projects" aka busy work to catch up on. So much for my lounging around the pool before LO arrives.

I'm am not over it yet.

I'm working my usual schedule until the night before my c-section. I have my pre-op on Wednesday morning 8/6 ... and then I'll go into work for my shift that night. The next morning my c-section is scheduled at 10AM. I told my supervisor that I might hit the road early on 8/6 ... just so I get a good night of sleep before the c-section.

I had planned to go into the office right up until the baby was born. However my boss is terrified she's going to have to drive me to the hospital, so starting Friday I start working from home. I'll still be putting in my regular hours since they've set me up with full access but I don't have to wear real clothes! Tomorrow marks the last day I have to cram my 38+ week butt into office appropriate attire!

Yes, solidarity to the working girls! I ended up taking on a job that is encroaching on my EDD. BUT it's made me feel proud that I was able to do a 10 hr shoot day at 8.5 months without too much pain or discomfort. Plus it's kind of nice to be social right?

I am due august 27 and am scheduled up until that day. Some days the pain is unbearable on my feet as I stand all day I work in a kitchen so my productivity has gone way down. I don't have any time off so I will be working until she decides to make her appearance and going back as soon as I am able.

Working full time till baby comes. My only saving grace is working from home the majority of my pregnancy. When I go into the office my feet swell up.

Due August 12th and planning on working until the day of but it's a daily struggle (esp. when I have had a horrible cough for 3+ weeks and all I want to do is go home for a Popsicle and a nap). My coworkers have been very sweet/understanding though (allowing me to pull back on responsibilities, checking in on me, etc) and keep encouraging me.

I'm 38w4d and still working in the office with a 30 minute commute. I'll be working til the day of. We have somewhat strict policies on telecommuting. I'm trying to finish up projects but everyday is a new fire drill and I'm typically involved in everything as a manager. I'm afraid I'll be working throughout my leave and I'm already planning to take my laptop to the hospital. :-P

I'm still working and this month (July) they let me begin working from home one day a week. I have an hour commute each way to my office or the different hospitals I work at and am exhausted by the end of the week. I am attempting to work up until I deliver. UGH.

I work at a school so I am "off" all summer. But that means that I am SAH with my 1.5 year old which is still working. Not much relaxing going on here and no naps.

Working through delivery day. But I've been working from home for the last week. My job is almost entirely computer work and conference calls (I'm a Risk Manager for a bank--I code in SAS and manage projects). My boss honestly doesn't care where I am, so long as I do good work.

38 weeks 5 days and still working full time. I plan to work up until I go into labor, but may start working from home after my due date next week. My productivity is really lacking and as far as a nap, I agree I'm super jealous!!!

With my first I planned to work until 38 weeks (that's when STD would kick in). I did work that far, then went into labor that weekend, right after my last day of work.

With my 2nd I planned to work until delivery (due to day care issues). I went into labor again at 38 weeks.

This time I'm a SAHM. I'm 38 weeks on Tuesday.

I'll work until I'm in labor but I don't have a physically demanding job. I feel awful for saying it but I think staying home with my two year old would be more exhausting. Getting up early every day when I can't sleep at night is getting old though. I would be in great shape if I could work all but an hour of my regular schedule and nap every afternoon

I'm still working full time, but I don't get paid maternity leave so I'm trying to get our money up. Although, the more miserable I get I might just get off a week earlier (39 weeks). I haven't completely decided yet. I have had a rough pregnancy, not saying above you all, but above my co-worker. She said she never experienced half the things I do, so I think they would understand that if LO isn't here by then, I would want a week or maybe just a few days to get everything settled and done or even rest. Lol.

I worked full time up to the day I gave birth with DD. After she was born I went part time. Some days I get to nap with her (glorious!) but most, I am getting off work right when she is waking up from her nap. I am still going to work up until I give birth this time, so I can have my 12 weeks with DS.

Me! My edd is 8/2 but I'm sure I will be at least a few days late so I am planning to work until labor or 8/8.whichever comes first. I was just going to work up to my edd but I think I would be bored at home and would probably stress out and obsess about some minor detail in the nursery.

I'm working up until LO comes as well. Friday is my last day in the office and then I'll be working from home next week, then PTO the week after if LO still hasn't come yet.
I'd much prefer him to come though. It sucks of being handed new work that I know I won't finish before going on leave. ugh.

Due 8/11 and still working. It's tough to focus and get too much done. Just so exhausted and uncomfortable. These work chairs are lousy for preggo women. I'll be here until the end because I want as much time with LO as possible.
So I'm hoping LO comes as soon as it's safe so I can high tail it outta here for 3 months.

I was trying to keep continue working full time right up until baby is born, but my bp has spiked and I'm exaughsted so next week (39/40 weeks pg) I'll cut back my hours some. Maybe a 6 hour day instead of 8 hours.

Im still working full time (and on call every other weekend) as well as still doing animal rescue on the side. Had a good save last night after work, and Im beat today! But I plan on continuing until I have the baby or my MW for some reason puts me on bedrest or tells me to stop working (Ive had no problems, so thats really unlikely).

At work till the end. Standard office job so nothing demanding - just fighting being tired all day and heartburn.

With DS I had 6 weeks disability before his due date because of extreme morning sickness and it was the only time I actually enjoyed my pregnancy. Glad I'm not sick again but the additional 6 weeks off would be nice. But that was a different company so the 6 weeks disability and 6 weeks maternity were all paid in full - not so much this time.

Working full time here but luckily in an office. So its not too physically demanding but still tiring.

I'm glad I'm working because its keeping my mind busy (even if I"m not super productive).

I'm working until Friday before my 39 week RCS on a Monday. Although this week (37 WEEKS) I have been more relaxed about getting to work on time, luckily my schedule is flexible. I figure, if I can sleep, I'm okay with getting to work a little late.

Another working girl here!!! Plan is to work up until I go into labor. Thankfully, DH only works about 3 blocks from my office, so even if I go in at work, he'll just walk over and we'll drive to the hospital. Going to keep an 'emergency' hospital bag in the car at all times, and a more 'detailed' one at the house that someone can bring up for us.

32 more days to go. *sigh*

Absolutely working until the last possible minute. I also wish it were 40 hours. It's more like 45-50 and that's an improvement lately. I'm REALLY tired these days but reasonably (and surprisingly) productive.
