So i usually empty with my morning pump after 30 minutes. Wel this morning my left stopped at 20 and my right is still going after 40 minutes. Do u pump until it stops or just cut it off?

I pump as long as I need to at least replace what LO is drinking at daycare. This morning I had more supply so I just pumped until the bottle I was filling was full. I could've pumped longer but being at work I worry that I'm taking too long and need to get back to my desk. If you have the time and the storage, I say pump it!

Ya i have created kind of an oversupply for my morning pump on maternity leave so that i could build a nice cushion of frozen. Sometimes i have to switch the bottle out for another ounce or so in the next one. Currently i get enough for dd in that first pump of the day. She eats 9 oztotal at daycare and thats with them trying extra hard to get her to finish her bottles.

I always get 10/11 oz in that first pump. This morning i got the usual amount it just took 40 minutes in one boob for some reason. So i didn't know if others just pump until the flow stops or how that works!
