Welcome to Washington! I originally moved to Washington back in the spring of 2002, and I rented a room at a bed and breakfast in Olalla (this town is in between Gig Harbor and Port Orchard). I lived in West Seattle for a couple of months, and I have been living in Queen Anne (Seattle) for the past couple of years. I will be moving back to Kitsap County at the end of this month and living in Poulsbo. Kitsap County had a special place in my heart, and I am looking forward to having ferry friends again when I will be commuting by ferry (Bainbridge Island this time around) to go to work in Seattle.
It should be a fun summer with lots of activities going on. I really like Central Market in Poulsbo. I like the strawberry smoothies at the cafe, and I order a lot of birthday cakes at the bakery. They do such a good job. As well, there is a Lavender Festival in the middle of July up in Sequim, Washington. My inlaws live in Sequim.
BFP on 07/18/08. Miscarriage 07/30/08. BFP 3/25/09. Confirmed second miscarriage, no heartbeat, no growth beyond 7 weeks, 5/19/09. TTC again, on baby aspirin, due to value of 23 on Anticardiolipin Antibodies. BFP 11/15/09. Brown spotting, Beta 3735 11/25/09, Beta 5602 11/28/09. Anticardiolipin Antibodies now negative, still on baby asprin. On 100 mg of Prometrium (progesterone) until 10 weeks. Good heartbeat at 1st appt. 12/16/09. Started taking fish oil. Perigestational hemorrhage and red bleeding 12/17/09. 2nd Ultrasound-8 weeks, still a heartbeat 12/17/09. Baby measured 9 weeks, still a heartbeat 12/23/09. Good NT Scan on 1/8/10, heartbeat 164. EDD 7/28/10. TEAM BLUE! Aidan Thomas born on May 26, 2010.

kdson-Are you in the Buy Nothing Group for North Kitsap? Everyone in that group is so nice--a lot of people in Kingston, Suquamish, Poulsbo, etc. I just moved to Poulsbo at the end of May. And my shower curtain got thrown away during the move. And it just happened that someone on that Buy Nothing group was giving away a shower curtain. And it just happened that the shower curtain that they gave me matched the shower liner that I had bought. And I have as well been able to give away maternity items and some lavender stuff on that Facebook group. I'm going to be moving to Bremerton in September, hubs is in the Navy. We're really excited to move back, we lived in Tacoma for a long time, so it'll be nice to be close to family with our LO arriving soon.
