@BlueDot818 thanks! Took another 10 minutes and he was able to stand so we quickly got to the car. I hate that he has this, I only threw the ball 3 times. Poor guy needs to get his energy out but can't.
@Meghan14 Could they be bug bites? Or an allergic reaction to something? Keep us posted.
@Codypup I think you should do a Lob (long bob) with layers. Layers are great for wavy/curly hair! This way you can still pull it back for work and when you want to avoid baby hands. I agree you would look great with red, how about some auburn highlights?
Thanks ladies for sharing your bouncer stories! I think you are right that LO just needs some more time. He'll only be five months next week.
@Codypup I can't get over Willa! That smile I crazy I just want to squish her!
@ahare2009 I has sinus surgery twice and the first few days suck but it's not as bad as I thought. The worst part for me actually was the constipation from the pain meds. Get thee some stool softener.
@shellbell3845 I'm so sorry. I hope the specialist figures it out for you.
@KatyBriggs I'm sure you've looked into everything already but I did the depo shot in college and it was great. Every three months and less periods.
@Meghan14 they look like bug bites? Is today the first time he went to gymnastics?
So I just went to a neighbors house to meet a new mom in the neighborhood who has a son three days older than mine. It was great meeting another mom so close! I'm really hoping out babies become BFFs.
@rachelmary : Just saw your post about doggie. So sorry for all of you stuck at the park.
Nope, no solids. And more little spots have developed. They don't seem to be bothering him. The only "new" things today were a inflatable mat and balance beam at "gymnastics". His skin does seem to be especialy sensitive to new people and things, but I haven't seen these red dots before. In the past just smaller rashy-er things.
@Meghan14 oh no! With there being so many rapidly appearing spots- can you call the after hours dr line for guidance?
My general rule of thumb for any medical thing is rapid/sudden onset is usually something not to be ignored. Keep us posted! If I remember, I'll text you later to check in!
I agree...since there are more popping up, I would call the after hours line to be safe. Keep us updated when you can!!
Ok, I just did a second, more thorough, nudie baby exam. They are only in exposed areas, none under the onsie, so I'm thinking it must be an environmental sensitivity. I wonder if they use powder on the inflatable mat so it doesn't stick to itself.
We're gonna have a really good bath in a bit and if anything still looks weird at bedtime or any more develop I will call the 24 hr nurse.
Thanks for all the concern girls. I'm probably over reacting, but having you all helps so much especially because DH isn't around this week.
Ok, if I hadn't posted the pictures you would all think I was an attention whore, hypochondriac, crazy person. I am watching the blotches literally fade away. What a crazy 2 hours! Still planning to monitor and give a really thorough bath.
I think in the future we will have a bath immediately after gymnastics. In the past there hasn't been an issue, but that's all I can come up with for now.
I think the lack of napping and fussiness was a just coincidence and caused me to worry more than needed.
You guise, I've hardly bumped for days because unpacking with two small kids is freaking impossible. I'm getting dd to sleep right now. It seems as if DH lost the legs to our freaking sectional in the move. The couch went to storage two months ago and the legs went who the hell knows. I'm trying not to flip out on him because I'm hoping they'll turn up but I'm so annoyed.
@ivedonethisb4 If you are talking about the Metformin, it is known to cause belly issues. I'm not sure what dose you are on, but sometimes it helps if you slowly increase to the dose. Also, if I remember correctly, it may not mesh well with certain foods (like carbs). There is also an extended release version that is much easier on the tummy! If the issues don't get better in a week or so, I'd talk to your doctor about the extended release version (if that isn't what you are taking now).

LO feel asleep on the boob. Love the baby snuggles, till she stirred filled her diaper, then went back out. I have the choice waking the sleeping baby but smell her diaper, or wake the beast to change her diaper knowing she will probably not go back out (
@bluedot818 Our boys are rolling twins! C did it this afternoon!!
@elf828 Perhaps you could just casually ask your DH what he thought of the link you sent him to get the conversation started? Then you don't have to stew about the weight thing.
@ahare2009 That sucks that you will need surgery, but hopefully it will fix everything!
Still catching up for the day, but have to put baby to sleep....
"Elsie Irene was born sleeping at 35w 6d on December 8, 2012. Mommy and Daddy miss you sweet girl."
@ivedonethisb4 What PP said. It is tough starting out, but it should get better. I was up to 2000mg/day when we were TTC, but I was taking the extended release version, which was easier on the tummy. I don't know that I could tolerate that dose of the straight up Met.

Ditto about the red @Codypup I think it would look great on you! Plus, it does fade quickly if you are unsure about it!
I felt like LO was never going to go to sleep tonight. It was 2+ hours and I'm thinking it has to do with our AC struggling to keep up with the extreme humidity. If only I could fix that...
Also, I haven't gotten the call from my interview last week. He said it would be about a week which will be tomorrow. I have 2 other interviews this week, one tomorrow and one Thursday. My fingers are crossed one of them turns out for me. I just hate feeling like I'm in limbo and wish I could put in my 2 weeks notice.
Just want to thank all of you who helped out last night. I think we had a few different issues combining together which freaked me out.
1. His sensitive skin looked red & irritated after gymnastics
2. A tooth making him fussy and not wanting to eat.
3. What could be seen in the pic and is very clear this morning- 12 or so mosquito bites. Poor guy is covered in them. I think one might have been trapped in his sleep sack and just went to town.
