How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 25 weeks, cauliflower (that seems huge!)
How are you feeling? Pretty good, have been having some cramps off and on which freaks me out, but I know that can be normal so trying to not worry.
Favorite moment of the week? I got a haircut on Friday but it was the first time that my hair stylist has seen me since I started really showing, she was so excited and everyone was asking questions and being really nice, it was fun :-) I'm looking forward to Friday, going to a big baby/kid consignment sale and hoping to come home with bags of books and baby clothes and other fun stuff!
Least favorite moment of the week? Cramps on Sunday.
How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? Heartburn is still there, taking Tums daily. And the off and on cramps are new.
How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? Not great, it's like as soon as I hit V-Day I've been looking for problems and am now paranoid about something going wrong at this point. The cramping doesn't help, and I keep thinking, OK if it gets worse or if I still have it tomorrow then I'll call the Dr. But as far as pain it's been pretty mild and only lasts for a few hours at a time, then goes away for a day or 2, and everything else seems to be fine so I'm just trying to accept that it's probably nothing and wait it out. I didn't have any yesterday, but if it comes back I might end up calling just for reassurance.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? Next appointment is Aug 8, I think.

Baby boy arrived 11/13/14!
Thanks, @rox825! No movement on the car/insurance yet, but we did finally get the police report yesterday (8 days later) so at least my insurance agent can start prodding people into action.
How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 19 weeks -- mango!
How are you feeling? Feeling pretty good!
Favorite moment of the week? We've been taking advantage of summer vacation this week and have been doing all kinds of things; hiking, train museum, the local county fair, etc. It's been a lot of activity, but super fun time with SO and DS.
Least favorite moment of the week? DS has one nasty day last week where he was just in pouting/"I hate the world" mode; that was draining!
How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? Still waiting to start feeling more consistent movement, but I usually feel at least some movement each day.
How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? Can't wait until my A/S next week... I know I will feel better then b/c it's been 9 weeks since we saw baby last!
Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? A/S scan is July 31.
~*~*~*GTKY questions:~*~*~*
Thanks for the check in @rox825 ! FWIW, my cramps sound really, really similar to yours. I also think I've had a few BH but they felt more like just tightening across my uterus, no pain; also they went away pretty quickly. I think my cramping may be related to dehydration. Apparently even very mild dehydration can cause cramping, so I have been guzzling an unholy amount of water. I have to pee every 20 minutes, but the cramps are noticeably better - I accept the trade-off.
How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you?
22 weeks, papaya - seriously, all of these freakin' fruits are the same size
How are you feeling?
Kind of whiney and uncomfortable
Favorite moment of the week?
My sister, who is due 10 days before me, just found out she is having a little girl too! With my niece who was born at the end of June, my baby and my sister's baby, we will have 3 new little girls by Christmas. We're having a pink Christmas!
Least favorite moment of the week?
DH and I took the dog for a walk on one of the local popular walking trails. It was supposed to be a fun family outing. DH needed a snack, BAD. He gets super crabby and really unreasonable when he has low blood sugar and needs to eat - and he doesn't recognize at the time that he is being a bear. He kept picking a fight as we were walking and really ruined the walk. He had a snack and a nap when we got home, then he apologized for being a jerk.
How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones?
New this week - trouble sleeping. Ack, it is waaaay too early for this one. It's a combo of not being able to get comfortable and the constant urge to pee. I'm checking out body pillows/pregnancy pillows on Amazon - so hopefully that does the trick - or at least helps.
How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests?
Relatively calm this week. I can feel her moving more frequently, so that helps.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to?
Still waiting for V-Day.
~*~*~*GTKY questions:~*~*~*
Thanks for the check in @rox825 it's been a couple weeks since I posted last!
How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 8 weeks, raspberry.
If you’re far enough along, are you having a boy or girl or are you team green? (This is to update the list, so if you’re already on there no need to answer again!) We want to find out--scheduled our A/S for October 15th!
How are you feeling? Nauseous for most of the day, tired, moody.
Favorite moment of the week? I have two--my new niece arrived on Saturday morning and last Wednesday we had our first appt/US and everything looks great! HB of 156 bpm.
Least favorite moment of the week? I'm tired of feeling nauseous, but when my nausea went away for most of the day on Friday, I freaked out and was worried it meant something. It came back though.
How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? About the same, I think my bewbs are getting a bit bigger.
How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? I'm still trying to be reassured from seeing our little bean and hearing a strong heartbeat, but I still have moments of worry. Still checking every time I go to the bathroom and if my symptoms seem to be lessening.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? Our NT scan is August 20th (I think) right before I leave for a work conference. I hope everything is still ok.

If you’re far enough along, are you having a boy or girl or are you team green?
Hopefully I'll know by next check in!
How are you feeling? Up and down.
Favorite moment of the week?
I just foun out yesterday that my SIL is pregnant after her first round of IVF. It's early days and still a secret from most ppl but I'm so over the moon for them.
Least favorite moment of the week?
Had a rocky mood swing Sunday, again. Is there something about Sundays, or is it just a coincidence that last Sunday was also a big bad day for pgal fears and tears?
How are your symptoms?
Mostly the same, and manageable.
How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests?
Keep fx for us for a/s on thurs pls. I'm nervous, of course, but trying not to let fears run away with me?
~*~*~*GTKY questions:~*~*~*
What has your weirdest pregnancy dream been?
It's not that weird, but last week I dreamed I was having 4 babies instead of just one, and that dream has stayed with me for some reason. In the dream I was so mad at my OB. How could she not know or not tell me??
How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 13 weeks - Peach!
How are you feeling? Generally I'm feeling really good. Hello 2nd trimester!
Favorite moment of the week? Easily yesterday, seeing my LO on the ultrasound screen, looking adorable and sucking his thumb.
Least favorite moment of the week? Arguments with DH a couple times last week. I think a lot of it is I'm extra moody and that sets him on edge, but we just keep having these little tiffs that blow up.
How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? Sooo much better. Nausea is almost completely gone. Still have fatigue, but I think that's much more from not sleeping well than the exhaustion I was feeling before. Dizziness and headaches are on the rise, but are pretty easily controlled by hydration and Tylenol.
How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? PGAL brain was really bad yesterday morning before my ultrasound, but everything was so perfect yesterday that it's hard to have anxiety. I do think that I'm going to be spending less time on this board though, because I think that sometimes it feeds my PgAL brain instead of alleviating it.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? One month until my next appointment.
~*~*~*GTKY questions:~*~*~*
How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 13 weeks, peach
How are you feeling? I'm feeling pretty good. Still feel really tired and hoping the supposed 2nd tri energy kicks in soon.
Favorite moment of the week? We went to an awesome wedding on Saturday. The ceremony and reception was right on the coast near San Diego on a beautiful property. The couple is so sweet and I loved hearing all the heart-felt speeches. MH had told some of his friends that were there that I was pregnant and they kept forgetting and offering me beer. It probably happened around 10 times.
Least favorite moment of the week? Travelling with an overtired husband on Friday. He went right from working night shift to coming home so we could fly down to S. California. Understandably, he was really cranky, but did get a little bit of sleep on the plane.
How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? The fatigue has stayed the same, but the nausea has continued to improve. Now, the queasiness only hits me maybe once a day. My back is also not hurting as much.
How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? I'm doing ok. I had a prenatal appointment on Thursday where we got to use the doppler for the first time. Even though it was in the normal range (145 bpm), it had me a little worried that it's the lowest we've seen. My doctor wasn't worried, but my PGAL went off.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? I need to schedule my next appointment for around 16 weeks. I'm looking forward to officially being out of first tri in the next few days.
ETA: I told my grandma and 1 cousin (they live together) on Friday and it went well. My grandma has asked numerous times if there is anything new and this time I said that there actually is. She clasped her hands together and said that she's so happy for us before I actually said anything else.
Then, I told my other cousin and his wife on Sunday and that also went well. They have two kids and are my grandma's only great-grandchildren.

BFP #2: EDD 9/3/13~~Slow HB at 1st U/S~~MMC -Loss on 2/13/13
How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 34 weeks
How are you feeling? Really good
Favorite moment of the week? We went with our neighbors to the movies. We went to a new theater that has really nice seats, think lazy-boy chairs. Literally they recline too. It was DS's first movie and he made it all the way through.
Least favorite moment of the week? DH's back is STILL hurting him. It has been a month and I can't feel sympathy anymore.
How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? I have a weird leg pain only in the middle of the night. I think it might be related to low iron because I don't have iron in my prenatal so I am going to try that tonight.
How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? Really good. At the NST last week LO was really quiet. The tech was sorta freaking out but I just knew he/she was fine. Eventually LO started to move. It kind of made me made that the tech freaked out so much.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? NST on friday.

@luciddreamer106 hooray for 2nd tri and sharing the news with more family
@larahouseman hooray for a good u/s!
@mayaruthie Congrats on your new niece, and a great u/s. What a great week!
@MrsTuna08 how fun to have little girls all the same year! Those are some lucky cousins! I'm really excited that my brother is having his first baby just 3 mos after ours is due. So fun!
@haleyusf your summer activities sound really fun! And I totally get that "I hate the world attitude" sometimes, even though it is probably more forgivable from your little guy than a grown woman
@meladoriestar ha! Your dream is too funny! There are far less attractive presidents your subconscious could've thrown in there, so I guess it turned out ok?
@birch113 I'm sorry for the nightmare scare. Despite the scary times and the endless nausea, it's so awesome that you're almost halfway there!!
@rox825 I'm sorry the cramps are happening and stressing you out! If you aren't already guzzling water, I think that's a good idea. A lot a lot a lot of water can help so much.
@Birch113- So sorry about the nightmare. Thank goodness for the doppler.
@meladoriestar- T&P's for the next 2 weeks.
@haleyusf-I haven't had as many pg dreams this time either. Although it is easier for me to remember my dreams.
@MrsTuna08- regarding cramps my doc says that sometimes women just have them throughout the pg. I had them a lot in the second tri and they have gone away now. Fx yours subside too.
@mayaruthie-Congrats on the healthy U/s.
@megbmeg-so cute that lo was sucking his thumb.
How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you?
14 weeks - lemon
How are you feeling?
Feeling a little bit better. I keep waiting for this magical 2nd trimester change. And I am not loving this awkward stage where I have this nice bloat going on that I cannot hide but I don’t think it looks like a cute baby bump yet.
Favorite moment of the week?
This weekend I walked a 5K and it felt amazing! I slept for 3 hours afterword but it felt so good to be active again.
Least favorite moment of the week?
Yesterday I got home to a message from Costco that the peaches I purchased (and ate most of) have a nationwide listeria recall. There is no people with symptoms but still I am definitely on edge.
How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones?
My upset stomach at night has let up a bit but my headaches have gotten worse.
How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? Doing pretty good lately just anxious for my next appointment the end of august.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to?
Looking forward to our anatomy scan on Aug 22nd and to find out the gender.

Stealing this one from another check-in last week, what has your weirdest pregnancy dream been?
I feel like I have the craziest/weirdest dreams every night. I am having a hard time remembering specifics but I am usually with someone I know but have never actually hung out with doing something weird.

rox825 – Thanks for the check-in! We started telling people last week and I told the girls at the front in my office but we have not made the official announcement yet. meladoriestar Sending hugs during the next 2 weeks for your milestones. But, your dream, lol- Obama!?
haleyusf Glad you heard from insurance and are making progress! Car repairs/accidents are such a pain.
MrsTuna08 Thanks for sharing about the cramps, I've been trying to make sure that I drink water throughout the day but will ramp it up a bit. I have a pregnancy pillow and I think that at first it helped a little but now it just gets in the way and causes me to toss and turn even more!
mayaruthie Congratulations on your new niece and your great US!!
megbmeg So exciting about your SIL! And sending T&P for your A/S this week.
larahouseman Congrats on the great US!!
luciddreamer106 Glad you had a good time at the wedding and were able to tell your grandmother!
Bonnesetter27 I've never been to a consignment sale before and this one is huge, I'm pretty excited! And a little overwhelmed about how to tackle it.
SamanthaLaura16 My 2nd tri "feeling good"-ness (not sure how to describe it!) didn't start until 15-16 weeks. The nausea went away sooner thank goodness but I didn't start to feel totally better until a little further in. And the bump will come soon enough, don't worry :-)

Baby boy arrived 11/13/14!
@rox825 Thanks for the check-in! I’m sorry that the cramps are making you worried. ((hugs)) There’s no harm in calling the doctor for reassurance if it happens again. That dream is pretty hilarious.
@birch113 Stupid nightmares messing with us. I’m glad that it was just a dream and you weren’t really spotting IRL. I hope the nausea goes away for you soon.
@meladoriestar FX that the spotting eases up soon. Milestones are so hard and I hope you can keep yourself distracted.
@haleyusf Good luck at the a/s next week!
@mrstuna08 Hopefully, the pillow does the trick to make you more comfortable. How fun that you’ll have a bunch of girls all around the same age!
@mayaruthie Congrats on a great u/s!
@megbmeg Good luck at your a/s this week!
@larahouseman Congrats on a great scan yesterday!
@bonnesetter27 I’m glad that the NST last week went well, even though LO took awhile to warm up. FX that they continue to go well.
@samanthalaura16 We got that call, too from Costco. I don’t even remember buying from there, but if we did, we ate them awhile ago. I’m glad the 5k went well. Going for walks always helps me feel better.
@meagpt22 Congrats on reaching 3rd tri! FX that the results of your test are good.

If you’re far enough along, are you having a boy or girl or are you team green? (This is to update the list, so if you’re already on there no need to answer again!) Team pink!
How are you feeling? Great, getting passed the AS hurdle has helped as well as knowing the sex has connected me to the baby more. They did hear a bit of a blimp in the heart beat at the AS when they pressed down soI have to have another ultrasound at 28 weeks but the midwife isn't concerned at this point as my other ultrasounds have been fine and the baby sounds good when she listens on the Doppler.
Favorite moment of the week? Having my mom in town visiting but it has limited my bump time.
Least favorite moment of the week? Can't think of one.
How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? I almost fainted on the subway this week, I need to remember to drink more water before I leave in the mornings.
How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? PGAL is in check at the moment.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? Had my midwife appointment this morning so nothing for the next month.

@rox825 thanks for check in! I am sorry about the cramps, hopefully they start to subside.
@birch113 congrats on everything coming great from the screening. I am not getting the second tri "energy burst" either
@meladoriestar so glad to hear the ultrasound went well, I hope the next two weeks fly by for you.
@haleyusfgood luck with your AS scan next week!
@mrstuna08 wow that's a lot of girls, it will be so nice to have them so close together growing up.

@megbmeg good luck with your A/S this week!

@bonnesetter27 good luck with the NST!
@samanthalaura16 I am sorry that you are affected by the listeria recall, hopefully everything is okay..
