Can't we all just get along?

Good morning ladies!  This is my 3rd pregnancy and it's been 8 years since I had my last child.  I thought it would be nice to join an online forum to chat with other women whom are also pregnant as there was not many sites like this available my last go round!  Overall I'm excited about the wealth of knowledge and access to information I've found.  It's nice to have so many incredible women to be able to chat with, joke around and honestly express my complaints to.  You guys all rock!  The only thing that's bothering me is some of the negative comments towards each other I've come across here and there. While I know we're all pregnant, hormones are raging, we're all living different, complicated lives... we must keep in mind that we haven't walked in each others shoes, and we all have different backgrounds, different life experiences, and we all have different levels of education and knowledge about being pregnant.   While I see nothing wrong with speaking your mind and expressing yourself, as we all have the freedom of speech, I do feel we could be a bit more "tactful" about how we respond so one another.  I've served in the military on active duty and was raised with a family full of boys, so I know it takes a lot to rattle my cage, but some of us might not be as capable to take things with a grain of salt.  That's my rant for the day!  :)

    This is your first discussion and you've posted in a couple others. But yes, you can change the tone of the board. You can make TB the place you want it to be.

    @caszgirl82 I totally agree with your post! I see a lot of snide remarks as well which is why I don't create a lot of posts and usually just offer support/comment.  Don't want to get my head bit off!!

    Congrats.

    And I do what I want. If I feel like someone needs a reality check or is saying something ridiculous, I'm going to point it out. If it makes them less ignorant or more sensitive to others, how is that a bad thing? Be careful riding around on that high horse of yours.

    Well that's lovely. I'm glad we've straightened out the hierarchy. Do they still give out crowns at Burger King? If so I'll run out and grab a few, bedazzle the crap out of them and we can start the coronation! Congrats!
