Let's talk about sex, part II (TMI warning!!)

After my disappointment that the other post was not about sexy sex, I decided to create a discussion where we can have all the sex talk we want. What issues are you going through? What solutions have you found to problems that you have?

I'll start. I am WAY tighter now that I am pregnant. DH loves it. I, on the other hand, enjoyed having sex just fine before getting pregnant, and am having trouble getting used to the new way it feels. Doesn't hurt or feel uncomfortable, but definitely not as good. I am learning that I have to change my positing in order to compensate and still, well, enjoy myself, if you catch my drift.

We've hit a real dry spell bc I just can't get in the mood. While pregnant I also have what DH refers to as velvet crotch. Not very moist which mean lube required.

DH and my schedules are completely off, we have about 10 baby free minutes in the evening once DS goes to bed and before I head to bed myself.

On the weekends, I am up for 2 or 3 hours before DH and already into my day (errands, etc) when he is up and about.

I'm so sick from the time I get up until the time I go to bed. Fortunately my husband understands and doesn't even mention sex lol

My husband made a comment just last night about it-asking if my MS has been doing better because it has been a while. We figured it has been a month today-poor guy! Some nights when I am feeling ok, he is on shift so of course that is a no go. I am hoping I feel well tonight so we can-I have definitely missed it too!

We're in a dry spell. I always get severe morning sickness, so when I got a BFP I took some dirty pics for DH, to help get him through first tri :-bd can't wait til second tri when things will heat back up!

We're averaging like, once a week these days. I'm just not in the mood due to being just plain exhausted. Hubby has actually been kinda snarky about it too...

We've gotten back into the swing of things. My MS has been easing and my energy is slightly up. Also helps that he's gaga over my boobs (this coming from a butt man).

My poor DH. I've woken him up at 3am at least twice the past 3 weeks for sex. Can't help it...lol. I think we go at least once a day to 2-3 times a week now. It helps my ms had eased majorly.

@lizjennings81‌ my hubby is also loving the tatas! Our frequency has decreased, mostly due to exhaustion (week 9 was a train wreck) but now that my ms is afternoon sickness - 3pm to 10pm- mornings are better for sex. I'm really hoping that everything will get better over the next few weeks!

I guess we are weird since things haven't really changed all that much since I got my BFP. We average 2-3 time a week mostly on the weekends. I did notice the sensation down there is way more intense. Also I cramp after an O. But that's about it. DH said he's not sure how comfortable he'll be having sex when I'm super pregnant and swears it's not because I'm going to be a whale or because he's afraid of hurting the baby, so I have no clue but I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

We average once a week. I'm just never in the mood. It's always been that way though. Since having DD, our sex life has gone downhill! Just too tired anymore. I feel bad for DH because he always wants it.

I'm having this issue too! It's getting harder to be comfortable in certain positions which is really bumming me out because it's all my favorites. We've just been getting creative and started using props!

We've done it probably twice since getting pregnant. I've had some spotting so I'm just anxious. Maybe in a few more weeks when my m/s and lack of energy are gone ::FX:: I'll feel more comfortable when I'm further along.

I saw DH after a week, they've been away camping and all I wanted to do was jump on him! We haven't had sex for about 4 weeks now due to TP w/blood. Scared us both, but now after doing it and not bleeding I feel much better. DH is looking forward to 2nd trimester to heat things up lol

It feels weird, I don't feel more sensitive to touch or anything. Plus its hard to breathe with my extra weight and then his added weight on top of me. But I like being close to him and I know he has needs so I don't gripe too much about it.

We haven't had sex in a little due to morning sickness all fracking day long. But I do find that orgasms are more intense (awesome!!), but I'm much more sensitive, so I can't stand sex as long. There's definitely swelling too, enough so that H has mentioned it.

WE had sex last night for the first time in over 2 weeks. I have been tired and feeling sick, so it just hasn't happened. He has been all over my boobs lately, so I knew he was feeling deprived. Sex feels better pregnant, once I get into it. But now my vagina hurts. Oh well.

average 1x a week and on Sat night, I finally enjoyed. DH is also loving the bigger boobies...had my first sex dream last night and it was awesome.

I had them all the time w the first pregnancy and had O's during the dream...it was nutty and amazing!

We average a couple times a week or so. I'm just never in the mood. But I have to say it is pretty awesome when it does happen. There just isn't any sex drive right now =(

We are still going around 2-3 times a week. Despite feeling like total crap and having zero energy after working 9 1/2 hour days, I have tried to keep him happy. He does so much around the house for me and the kids, cooking, cleaning ect, it's the least I can do, even if I'm not really into it. Surprisingly my morning sickness goes away for those 20 while doing it so at least I get a blink of relief.

We haven't had sex in about 3 weeks I think. I've lost count! DH wants to but when we have it's just really awkward. I have so many concerns running through my mind it's hard to focus on enjoying myself. I thought DH would be more freaked out about sex but I am! I'm trying though! And feeling like crap all day doesn't help either.

I'm always tired, he always decides to get up in my grill when I'm falling asleep. The dude has horrible timing. Man oh man. I was ready to go the other day but he came home acting like such a drama queen so I got turned off. Eh. It'll happen at some point?

We did it the other day for the first time since we conceived. I had just been feeling so awful and tired, but finally am starting to feel better - DH has been really patient and good about not always asking for it, so it was time. It felt good for me, probably even a little better than before I was pregnant.

Our frequency has decreased significantly (poor guy); I'm just way too tired. But have found that mornings have been better in general timing wise we do get to "do the do"...

Between DH's work travel schedule and me traveling back to WI twice, we haven't seen each other much. He gets home Saturday! By then, we will have seen each other a total of 5 days (4 nights) in 7 weeks! Had sexy time once during that time, wasn't in the mood after learning about my dad's health situation and then passing. I get DH for 2 weeks, then he's off for his last work trip for a while. It's been a rough spring/summer (home 2 wk, gone 2 wks, home 2 wks, gone 2 wks...). I was surprised when we got our BFP, timing was good during those 2 wks.

Ladies... I have to admit. I'm 11 weeks tomorrow and prior to that we did IVF so we weren't allowed to have sex after the middle of May. Well I was feeling so terrible from all the meds it's been since April. Poor DH but now he's too worried about something happening and he's read that O's are not good for the uterus (eye roll). So now he refuses! I have however been extra rewarding to him these past couple weeks... but can't mama have some fun too?

It's not so much my sleepiness or MS, my hormones are just making me super grumpy! Like everything the poor guy does just pisses me off! It's awful! Slowly coming out of that I think though

Between MS, migraines, and also being super grumpy we haven't had sex in about 8 or 9 weeks. I don't feel the least bit guilty. BUT, he helped me out a bunch today, so right now I'm thinking it may change tonight...we'll see if he pisses me off or if I fall asleep before it goes down!

We were having sex alllll the time after BFP. I think just doing it for fun was more of a novelty than I'd like to admit. Infertility does that to you.

Now, I'm still into it, and we have a few times, but DH can't finish. He's worried about hurting the baby. No matter what I say to reassure him, I can't get through.

This too shall pass, I'm sure. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
