Boy. I'm really drawn to the navy blue, Kelly green scheme. Our woodwork is dark, so my walls will be a light neutral green and I'm leaning with accenting with these colors.
These pics are my inspiration. The one is the crib skirt I ordered.
Team Green! We're doing grey walls with teal, green and orange. There will be one wall that has squares on it with various shades of these colors (it's a short wall since we have a slanted ceiling).
One wall will have a mural (wallpaper, not paint) of a nebula. The other three will be painted at least one color from it, currently planning on a lighter shade of purple with yellow/yellow-orange accents... We shall see. The woodwork is honey oak and the crib is (going to be) off-white, so we may just go with the purple and call it a day.
The walls are a light brown colour and we are using chocolate browns, navy and red as colours. We are doing a sports theme for our baby boy! We ordered a decal from etsy of a baseball bat (chocolate brown) a white ball with red stitching and his name written in navy to put above the bat. That is all we have purchased besides the furniture so we are going with those colours for the bedding and curtains as well
@kllopez1221... I love love love the little whales!! So cute!!!
I have lots going on in my color scheme. haha. Her walls are gray and her furniture is ivory. I want to do a textured gray wall paper on the wall behind her crib to add depth to the room but I can't settle on one. This is the fabric I just purchased for her bedding and curtains. I am absolutley in LOVE with it!!
Team Green and we were team green for my daughter who is 16 mos. in the nursery now. All of the furniture is white and the decor is travel theme / primary colors. These are two of the fabric panels we used the nursery (changing pad cover, curtain valance, bumper, pillows, bunting flags etc)
@wildflower75 I almost went with an alphabet/numbers/primary colors/map theme. Then I decided it might look too school-ish if it looked like what I was imagining LOL.
Although I still might decorate in alphabet letters & numbers that coordinate with my paint.

Yeah, I know what you mean... the play room (which is really our living room) sometimes reminds me of a classroom (especially because I am crazy about learning toys) but it all works out in the end! I love primary colors because they are bright, cheer-y and great for any gender!
We rent, so no painting for us. In my head, we are doing gray, navy and orange. Furniture is dark gray, bedding is mostly white with some grays and blues. Really, my nursery dreams are sort if on hold until we move to a bigger place
Light gray walls, aqua refurbished dresser, white crib. Accented with aqua, purple/lilac, orchid. Found this patchwork quilt on etsy so planning the room around it.
I have zero sense of style or vision, so I have the feeling when all is said and done it will look like a bunch of shades of pink and purple were thrown up into our nursery.
Our crib and dresser are white. The sheets are purple and white chevrons and we have a purple/black wall decal with her name, so...Purple/White/Black? Maybe?
We also have various girlie colored maps for the walls (pinks, purples, light blue, etc).
we did an accent wall that is a muted dusty lilac and the other walls are taupe.
This is the crib blanket and crib sheet I bought. So we are just using colours within the blanket for accents. The purple of the accent wall is like the purple in the crib sheet.
ETA: there are bumpers in her crib now, they came with the bedding set. So I put them in for now. We won't be using them when baby comes.
yellow walls to keep it neutral for the future with orange and blue accents for this little guy. the glider is a pretty bold orange, wouldn't be my first choice but it's free so i'm working around that

We aren't decorating a nursery because the baby will be bedsharing with us, but as a general color scheme (as far as toys/clothes go) we've been drawn to purple and gray. We're having a girl, and my husband haaaaates pink, lol. I don't mind it, but I don't want to be assumed that she has to have pink just because she's a girl, so. It's working out. Lots of purple in her wardrobe so far, haha.
