Feeling great after my c/s little man is nursing like a champ and just perfect! Cant wait to post his story and pics when im not mobile! Soooo in love :x
I woke up at 6 this morning and felt a gush...was it water? Was it pee? Ask DH to get me a towel so I could make it to the bathroom. Neither. It was my ENTIRE MUCOUS PLUG. F - ing gross. F - ing disappointing!

Hey, at least that's something!! Right??
Eta: I currently have evening primrose oil dripping out of me. Oh, pregnancy...

Haha! YES! And now I'm sitting in bed (on my towel) trying to will my water to break while my boys sleep. PSYCHO!! 8-}
Is there a thread or somewhere where people who changed their usernames listed who they were before? I want to make sure I'm not ignoring people who I genuinely liked before.
Eta: I realize this came off asshole-y but I really just want to make sure i know where my favorites are at and that they just didn't disappear after they had their babies.

Relearning how to wipe my own ass after a csection has been interesting ....
& I thought babies slept? 24 hours going on baby being awake. I have a stubborn little dude but I love him!
That's how DS1 was. I was expecting as a newborn he'd just fall asleep but we had to work really hard to get him to actually sleep and stay asleep. I was happy when he was old enough to sleep train because at that point I was losing my mind at bedtime every night. Even now at 3 1/2 I feel like if we didn't make him go to bed, he would easily stay awake all night.
I ordered Baby Girl's birth announcements yesterday. Today I went through paperwork I need to file and found the one from the doctor's office at her 1 week visit that listed her measurements at birth, at discharge, and at the appointment.
Looks like I put her length wrong on the announcement and gave her an extra inch... X_X
I'm pretty sure my water just broke... mom's on her way, and i'm getting emotional thinking about leaving my son. No contractions, so we'll see what happens when they do the test to see if it is amniotic fluid!
@litera I'm super glad you now have a light at the end of the tunnel! I'm sure it's not awesome hearing things like your placenta is on it's last legs, but hey, you'll have your sweet little squish SO soon!!
Did you know that when lightening (did I use the right form of the word?) bugs light up their butts, that's how they alert the opposite sex that they're ready to mate?
Are they all over the country? I know the east coast has them, but does the west?

I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years. And all along I believed I would find you, time has brought your heart to me. I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you a thousand more.
Thanks everyone! It's go time. Admitted, now just playing the waiting game. The really weird thing is that my water broke on the EXACT day as it did with DS. 12 days early. They will both come 11 days before my due date.
@litera - i am so happy that you have a date and that you and your DH get to enjoy the last night together! It's crazy that we will have our LOs to cuddle soon!

We had one in our bedroom a couple weeks ago. If I had known this, I'd have told DH at least someone in the room wanted sex.
A friend of a friend on FB just named her daughter Kaleesi. If you're going to give your daughter a horrible name, shouldn't you at least spell it right?! I'm scared that one day my kids will end up marrying one of these ridiculously named kids.

I have this fear as well.
And then i wonder if that makes me a total judgmental bitch.

Yes, they are on the West Coast as well. I have lived on the East Coast, in the Midwest, and on the West Coast.
I've never encountered a lightning bug on the Wesside (throwing up my Tupac West Coast 4 Lyfe gang sign).
@lindslalala I cannot wait until she's old enough to breastfeed....dragons.
Edit: Aha!
Fireflies love humid, warm environments. In the U.S., almost no species of fireflies are found west of Kansas—although there are also warm and humid areas to the west. Nobody is sure why this is. There are many species of fireflies throughout the world, and the most diversity in species is found in tropical Asia as well as Central and South America.
How long is this supposed to go on for?? How can there be THAT much?
Had some chunks last weekend, had giant freaking ball yesterday morning, plus a ton all throughout the day (of a somewhat firm consistency) and a ton more today (of a somewhat waterier consistency).
I am over running to the bathroom to check/go pee and having it damn near run down my leg. Ahhhh!

WILL IT NEVER END?
That was definitely the weirdest part of my labor...when the doctor broke my water, it seemed like it would never stop. Having babies is so glam.

To me, that was the most surprising thing about labor/delivery...how messy it was. Bodily fluids for days.
@litera good luck tomorrow! And don't sweat his weight. Both my babies were over 9 lbs and I lived through it (I'm 5'1"). Once you get to the pushing part, you won't give a hoot about anything other than meeting your squishy. And you'll do great! Can't wait to see pictures of Brom!

@Matthew930 Good luck! Hope your LO will be here soon!
