So it kind of makes me sad if some of you take this a reflection of all the members of the FB group. I like the FB group and I thought we had a good thing going on. It is easier for me to interact on that forum vs this one. The opinions expressed here are just that. Opinions. While everyone might not agree with this post or how it went down it was their right to post it. They are gone. Apparently with a bang. C'est la vie. I also don't think this post received the reaction that the OP's were intending but I can't say for sure. Some people rub other people the wrong way. Such is life. I would hate to see people leave or refuse to join the other group based solely on this post. There should be no "us vs. them" non-sense. There are 58 people in the facebook group and up until this there has been no dramatics. I would hate to see some silly little post ruin a normally fun and inviting group. I also know for a fact no one was intentionally excluded from the facebook group. I think what we have here is just a failure to communicate ;-)

Understandable, and they were called out in return, harshly I should add. But what's done is done. The ladies who collaborated on the post should no more represent the FB group then the GC contributers represent the RTT or TB as a whole.

This. And I don't think negatively of anyone just because they happen to be in the FB group. Honestly, I somehow doubt the OP even accurately represents the attitude of all the ladies listed (opinion maybe, but not attitude).

@irisheyez7 I agree with Rogue and Atari, but I in no way think less of all the ladies who choose to participate in FB. I take this as a reflection on the OPs, not all of the Facebook group. I won't lie, Aviola being the gatekeeper of the group made me a bit wary because she tends to be all "rules rules rules!" anyway, but I don't have Facebook so I never gave it much thought. I have felt like I may have been missing out by not having one, but this post made me feel better about it because it holds little draw for me now. Again, not because of anyone else, just because this was all a bit much. And a bit personal, not that I care. I'm long winded and I own that shiz! But I've always liked you, Irish. Just wanted you to know.

BUT one of the "caller-outers" is the self-proclaimed leader of the FB group. And GC never said anything negative about anyone, we made her a harmless idiot. Whoever wrote this post is talking about MamaFantastic's etsy shop, etc. It was definitely more malicious.

FWIW, GCC's coming out was a real turning point in my view of the board. I've been a long time knotter, but that was a first... a group of people who felt the need to stir up drama and then argue with themselves. Love all you girls, but srsly, it was weird. And I'm the queen of weird. My dog masturbates, for Pete's sake.

I speak for all the Cocos (I think?) when I say you guys all see GC as a much bigger deal than it was ever intended to be. It seems you (general "you") assume we were all carefully plotting behind the scenes at every turn, and that's just not the reality of GC's inception and/or execution. It was haphazard and silly, evolving over time into something we all figured out as it happened. This "turning point" talk really baffles me!
