I may sound crazy... But....

When ds2 cries he almost sounds like he's saying real words.

When he's got gas pains his cries almost sound like "ow" and when he just wants to be snuggled he sounds like he's saying mama

IS this just me? Am I as crazy as I think I sound?

  • Well at least I may not be as crazy as I thought I was then! Haha. I do like that theory though so I'm going with that

  • I think those easy to make/instinctive sounds are a part of how our language is/was formed. I mean babies make that "ma...ma...ma" sound when crying, so you're not going to think, "hmmm I know we should call mothers, "wheelbarrow."

This is of course my own entirely unscientific theory.

This, but it is actually linguistically correct. :)
