    Do Roombas work? I have a ton of hardwood floors in my house and a dog that sheds 2054x per day and I am so tired of sweeping/vac'ing.

    I want to make sure it's worth it before I put that shit on my xmas list

    Tried it years ago and it was a fail. However, new versions and hopefully better technology might be on your side.

    Multiple friends of mine swear by the Roomba, but note that they still do a heavy duty vacuum job once a week or 2 weeks if they push it.

    TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.

    Yes, we love ours! It's best for daily use, but like others we still do a deep clean vacuum on weekends.
