Canadian Moms - mat leave start?

When are my fellow Canadian moms (I guess the working ones) planning on starting mat leave?

If this is your second (or more) when did you start your previous mat leave(s)?

I went off at 38 weeks last time and my DS wasn't born until 41+3.  I had a few weeks of vacation that I tacked on to the beginning last time, but I don't have that now.  I'll have a few weeks I can add at the end when I come back next year though, so I guess that part is the same.

I have no clue how long I want to keep working.  I have very non-stressful desk job, but a 30-90 minute commute (depending on traffic) which is going to suck.

So tell me, what are you plans?

    I had been planning to go starting on my Due date, but now I'm wondering if I might tack a week on just for my sanity. I also have a weeks vacation saved up I was going to use.

    I'm due October 17th, and figure I can try and work out my weeks vacation with leaving early, so maybe I can take off October all together?

    Not sure yet.

    I didn't even know, until last week, that I could start my leave early! That really was a lovely bit of news!

    My due date is Oct 25, I went a week overdue with my first and right on time with my second, so I'm working until Oct 17, but I'll have everything organized for my replacement at the beginning of Oct in case I fluke out and go early!!!

    With DS I stopped working a month early (last day was a Thursday) and I went into labour Saturday night and delivered Sunday. So I had 1 day off.

    It's either going to be august 30th. I know that's really early but if I'm not able to change my hours so I can pick my daughter up after school I'll need to be off early. The second choice is October 3rd. Part of me wants the earlier date because I've been in a lot of pain at work, getting lots of cramps, some are so painful. So it'd be nice but we will see either way.

    I'm working til I can't anymore. DS starts jk next September so I want to be off for his first month of school or longer.

    I'm scheduled to work until Oct 24th for my Oct 29th due date. If I have any issues I will hope to take sick leave instead. On the flip side, I am slowly using up my vacation time by only working 4 day weeks from now until baby comes. I know I will rather have more time at the other end than this end.
