What would you do?

So I'm back to work, this is my second week back. LO now decides to sleep in for me. I leave my house at 8am, and he usually wakes between 7:30-8am. My MIL watches him while I'm at work. So my question is, would you be selfish and wake up LO to get some snuggle time before going to work, or just let them sleep and wake up on their own, knowing there is a good chance you won't get to see him until you get home from work.

    I'd let her sleep too, but that's a tough call.

    Well when he wakes up on his own he is one very happy smiley kid and I love seeing that. So I don't want to wake him and have him be grouchy at me. And I love my MIL, but she annoys me more often than not. Especially lately, she made a comment to my soon to be SIL about how she thought she would be watching LO a lot more during the week. She doesn't watch him on Mondays because MH is home. And then we also only have her watch him until 3ish when MH either gets outta class or wakes up. I don't think she understands that she's not needed when one of us is home.

    I think I'm just gonna let him wake up on his own, I'm just gonna have to suffer and miss my morning snuggles until the weekend.

    I wake up both the littles before going to work but it is part of our routine. DS1 eats breakfast with me and then goes back to sleep and DS2 gets a diaper change and some booby time. It works because they both sleep a bit longer for DH allowing him to sleep in (who does the night shift for us) and neither boys have blow outs or leaks.
