    It does get better. Until I was talking about the early on bf struggles with a new mom, I completely forgot how hard it was. Once it got better it was like the beginning never happened. I bf DD1 for 14 months.

    @Conradgallagher‌ you aren't alone. I'm nervous about bf this one and it's my 3rd time bf. I have been reading all kinds of craziness trying to make sure I remember. I have never pumped much though so that's where my anxiety is coming into play. I wanna leave the house without kids attached to me!!!

    Yeah originally I thought I was going to be sahm for almost a year but now I might enroll in some prerequisite courses for the nursing program I plan on doing, so I'll be pumping more than originally planned. I honestly have no issue with formula feeding if it doesn't work out though. One of my main reasons for bfing is that it will save us lots of money if it works out.

    I've shared so much information in this thread with DH already, so he's getting more prepared. I think he was a little surprised about some of it, like how baby might drink more / faster from a bottle than when BFing. I've also been sharing a lot about what you all have said about it being difficult but not quitting and that if you have to supplement or switch to formula, not to beat yourself up about it. He's really all about the BFing idea, so I want to make sure he's prepared for the chance that we might have to do some supplementing so that I don't feel like a total failure if I'm not good at it. "/ I have a feeling I'll be coming back to this thread once I'm actually in the process of trying it out!

    Lol my husband says BFing is weird. I think he personally doesn't want the bewbies to be baby's property and not his from here on out.

    In all seriousness though, he support whatever feeding decision I think is best since he doesn't really know all that much. I share information about it with him when I feel it's important, but some things he just doesn't need to know.
