Re: ~~PgAL Check In~~

  • EDD: 3/22/14

    Gestation in weeks/fruit: 4/poppyseed

How are you feeling physically? Emotionally?  Pretty good this week!  Horrible diarrhea this week though.

Upcoming Appointments or Milestones:  I have an appointment tomorrow! I started to worry maybe I should be taking a progesterone supplement like I did last time so I called and my doctor wanted to see me right away.

GTKY -- On this date waaay back in 1876 baseball's first no hitter was pitched!  Are you a sports fan?  What's your favorite sport/team?  I love all the sports!  We're huge White Sox fans and Packers fan.

  • Thanks for checking in!  I'm feeling a little more confident every day :)

    Gestation in weeks/fruit: 6w4d - Sweet Pea

How are you feeling physically? Holy nausea!  Mine started on Saturday and has hit me like a truck.  Other than that, still have the sore boobs, the bloat, and the fatigue.  My daily floor naps on my yoga mat in my office have become necessity! Emotionally?  Like I said above, every day is a little bit better.  We passed our loss milestone at the end of last week, and I felt like I was able to get a little more excited.  Still anxious, but trying to be grateful for every day!

Upcoming Appointments or Milestones: Our first appt. is on Monday!  Six days and counting!

GTKY -- On this date waaay back in 1876 baseball's first no hitter was pitched!  Are you a sports fan?  What's your favorite sport/team? My husband & I both graduated from Texas A&M University and are HUGE Aggie fans!  College football is really the only sport we follow, but anytime the Ags are playing I will tune in regardless of the sport.

Pregnancy Loss Background (if this is your first time on the check-in): I had a miscarrage at close to 7w back in september 2013 and a CP in Feb 2014. My DD just turned two this past May.

EDD (if this is your first time on the check in): 3/19/15

    Gestation in weeks/fruit: 4w5d/poppyseed

How are you feeling physically? Emotionally? Physically - nausea comes and go as well as heartburn, fatigue, constipation/gas. Emotionally - I'm better when the nausea is around to remind me that I'm pregnant but trying to stay positive and just keep reminding myself that I am pregnant TODAY :) Also, wondfo's staying extremley dark is helping too!

Upcoming Appointments or Milestones: I have an early ultrasound on 7/25 which cannot come soon enough. If everything is okay then appt on 8/8 and ultrasound again on 8/22.

GTKY -- On this date waaay back in 1876 baseball's first no hitter was pitched! Are you a sports fan? What's your favorite sport/team? Love sports! I'm from New England die hard Red Sox fan. Going to Fenway for the Yanks/Sox series on 8/3. Also love me some Patriots!

Thanks for the check-in @SNLT1012. Vacation was lovely! We spent last week in Northern Michigan and pretty much just relaxed. I was called for jury duty yesterday, but wasn't actually chosen for a trial so I spent my Monday reading. Not a terrible way to ease back into the work week.

    Gestation in weeks/fruit: 6w5d/Sweet Pea

How are you feeling physically? Emotionally? Physically, I'm somewhere in between not terrible and not great. Mostly waves of nausea and fatigue. There was one day on vacation last week that I literally could not get off the couch because I was so tired and sick. Luckily that happened on the one rainy day that we had. Emotionally, I think I'm doing pretty well. I've had a couple major PGAL freak out moments but aside from that just trying to stay cautiously optimistic. One of my best friends and her family were also Up North last week. She had a loss a few years ago and now has a 1 year old, so it really helped to be able to talk with her.

Upcoming Appointments or Milestones: Just patiently waiting for my first appointment and u/s on July 29th.

GTKY -- On this date waaay back in 1876 baseball's first no hitter was pitched!  Are you a sports fan?  What's your favorite sport/team? I also love all the sports, but my very favorite team is the Blackhawks. I went to Indiana University, so I'm also a pretty die hard Hoosier basketball fan!

  • SNLT1012meladoriestar I did not realize you were spotting! I hope it stops and your betas are good!

    Gestation in weeks/fruit: 5 weeks 6 days

How are you feeling physically? Emotionally? Physically, I am still so tired. I still have a random nausea/gag reaction. I pee like every 45 minutes if not every 30. I'm pretty constipated and gassy. My cramping still comes and goes, but is not terrible by any means. I am dealing with headaches daily still. Also a lower backache. That all being said, I am still bleeding/spotting. There are significantly less clots than Sunday night, yesterday morning and I'm really only getting blood while wiping. I'm hoping this is a good thing because I feel like it would just keep increasing if it were really bad. :-/

Emotionally, I am all over the place. I am trying to be hopeful without being naive. But I also don't want to feel like I am giving up on this pregnancy yet. No one has told me I am not pregnant yet so I feel I still am. Also, with me still having my symptoms I really don't know what to think. DH has been a rock, but is starting to get mad when I dwell on things instead of staying positive.

Upcoming Appointments or Milestones: I had my Beta draw yesterday morning and I'm still waiting to hear from my OB's office as to what the level was to see if I need to go in for another draw tomorrow or if we can schedule an u/s. I also had my Rho gm shot yesterday after getting my Beta draw.

GTKY -- On this date waaay back in 1876 baseball's first no hitter was pitched!  Are you a sports fan?  What's your favorite sport/team? I am a huge hockey fan and football fan. Love my Black and Gold Penguins and Steelers!

    All are Welcome!

  • Thanks for the check in @SNLT1012

Gestation in weeks/fruit: 6 weeks - Sweet Pea!

How are you feeling physically? I'm starting to get nauseous most of the day. Just an overall feeling of queasiness. Boobs are still sore, and I could sleep for 12 hours at a time if I could. I will take every "bad' symptom and more if it means this bean sticks!

Emotionally? I'm very anxious lately, which leads to crabbiness. DH has been getting the brunt of it because he is so positive.

Upcoming Appointments or Milestones: My first u/s is TOMORROW!! I'm so nervous, and I will get zero work done between now and then.

GTKY -- On this date waaay back in 1876 baseball's first no hitter was pitched!  Are you a sports fan?  What's your favorite sport/team? I am a huge football fan - LSU and the Saints!

  • Gestation in weeks/fruit: 6w5d, almost a blueberry

How are you feeling physically? I've been pretty nauseated, but not barfing. Tired and hungry. The other day I had just dozed off for a nap when my sister texted and woke me up. Then I was too pukey to lie down and try to go back to sleep. I almost cried I was so upset at my lost nap.

Emotionally? I think I'm doing good. I am starting to embrace that this is happening and that there's really no reason to suspect it won't go well. Or at least trying to convince myself of that!

Upcoming Appointments or Milestones: My first appt isn't until the 31st. Soooo far away. I really want to tell my H's parents about the baby when we all vacation together this weekend, but I don't want to chance having to untell my kiddo so I guess we wait.

GTKY -- On this date waaay back in 1876 baseball's first no hitter was pitched! Are you a sports fan? Meh, kind of. I enjoy whatever is on, but don't really follow baseball.

  • How thoughtful of you to ask, SNLT1012!  :) I'm feeling ok about it. It's a weird feeling, but I am extremely grateful that I am pregnant during this time! It makes it nearly pain free.

Gestation in weeks/fruit: 5w1day Size of appleseed?

How are you feeling physically? Emotionally? Physically I'm feeling alright. Other than constantly feeling like I'm hit by a bus, no nausea creeping up on me yet. I find myself getting emotional over silly things. I feel super positive.

Upcoming Appointments or Milestones: Going in today for another progesterone blood draw. Fingers crossed it's still at a normal level!

GTKY -- On this date waaay back in 1876 baseball's first no hitter was pitched!  Are you a sports fan?  What's your favorite sport/team?

I'm so not into sports. I like equestrian sports and mountain biking, but I don't follow sports on TV.

  • @SNLT1012 good luck at your appt tomorrow!

@meladoriestar FX for great betas tomorrow!

@adouses06 I hope your MS lets up--I understand only wanting to eat bland stuff.  Have you tried taking Unisom at night to see if that helps?

Gestation in weeks/fruit: 7 weeks, blueberry.

How are you feeling physically? Emotionally? I'm nauseous for the majority of the day and exhausted.  I haven't noticed any other symptoms :/

Upcoming Appointments or Milestones: I have my first appt tomorrow afternoon followed by an U/S.  I'm praying I have good news and I will AW it up here if I do :)

GTKY -- On this date waaay back in 1876 baseball's first no hitter was pitched!  Are you a sports fan?  What's your favorite sport/team? YES.  I love college football, but I'll pretty much watch any sports.  My favorite team is the Iowa Hawkeyes.  GO HAWKS!  @jcar2 MH is a big Buckeyes fan so the fall is a tough time at our house ;)

  • @SNLT1012 Good luck and happy thoughts for your u/s tomorrow!!

@adouces06 Exciting news that you are telling your parents next week! How are you planning to tell them?

@meladoriestar Fx for great betas tomorrow!

@marchmom15 Hi to a fellow SEC fan! Hope you have a great appointment next week!

@jcar2 PgAL brain does suck! I've seen lots of posts about symptoms disappearing and then reappearing. Hope your week goes great!

@katydid2014 Congrats on great 1st u/s and seeing the heartbeat!

@sdion27 Good luck on your u/s next week!

@akleng Sounds like you had a great vacation! Hope you have a great week!

@iliketurtles17 Good luck at your blood draw today! Fx for good levels!

  • SNLT1012 for keeping it all straight!

    Gestation in weeks/fruit: 5w 6d/Appleseed

How are you feeling physically? Emotionally? Physically I am still very tired, and I am very bloated and constipated. Emotionally I feel like I could cry at anything. World cup winners bringing their children out onto the field to celebrate? Yep cried.

Upcoming Appointments or Milestones: Less than 4 weeks till my first ultrasound and genetic counseling.

GTKY -- On this date waaay back in 1876 baseball's first no hitter was pitched!  Are you a sports fan?  What's your favorite sport/team? I do like sports, some more than others! And of course my favorite team is the Green Bay Packers!!

  • Gestation: 6 weeks 5 days. Small pea

I have been feeling awful this week. I have had this horrible sore throat on top of food aversions. I actually lost 3lbs. I think I'm started to feel a little better but can't wait till the sore throat is gone. The good news is my hubs took care of lo this weekend and now has greater appreciation for me as a sahm.

I have an us next Wed 7/23 and it can't come soon enough.

We are hockey fans. Go kings go. This was an amazing year to be a kings fan. I hope to go to a few games this year. :)

  • wendyld I did get my referral. Just trying to get an appt set up, hoping to do it on the 4th when I get my u/s done. I want to get preapproval on everything up front so we can get all the tests done that are needed right away. I read on the internet that I can get the blood draw at 10 weeks, so I am hoping that is the case. I dont think I can put pgal brain at ease until all of that comes back good!

  • @SNLT1012 thanks for running the check in!

Well, my 6w3d ultrasound was a shit show. Baby only measured 5w6d, no heartbeat, sac measured 6w1d. Just fucking horrible. This pregnancy was the result of IUI#2 so we know the conception date for sure. My beta was nearly 16,000 and progesterone was over 50 so those numbers look good. Still, my RE is concerned and I feel like my symptoms are lessening. I'll go in next week to see what, if anything has happened. I'm preparing myself for the worst. At this point I hope I start bleeding, if this pregnancy isn't viable, so I can start preparing for IVF with genetic testing and avoid a D&C. This will be our third loss and we are crushed. Oh, and the baby we lost in December would have been due this week. Feeling pretty hopeless. Hope everyone else is doing better than I am.
  • EDD: 3/1/14

    Gestation in weeks/fruit: 7w2d/blueberry

Upcoming Appointments or Milestones: I forgot to update here, my appt last Friday went well, we got to see the baby! (Measuring a day behind) And hear the heart beat (131 bpm) ... Next appt/ u/s is 7/30!!

GTKY -- On this date waaay back in 1876 baseball's first no hitter was pitched!  Are you a sports fan?  What's your favorite sport/team?  Yes, I am sports fan! Mainly the just Philadelphia Phillies & Eagles but I end up watching a lot of tennis, soccer, Nascar & MMA since my DH is sports junkie

How are you feeling physically? Sick sick, sick. I've started Zofran, and even with it I have been dry heaving non stop this morning.
Emotionally? A mess. Still. My oldest is still having a hard time processing what happened with his brother dying. When ever he sees a picture of a baby, or there is talk of a baby being born, he says the baby died.
I know he's not even three, and he is trying to process, but it is hard. We were looking at baby pictures of him tonight, and Owen kept saying "that's baby Owen, and he died." I would correct him, and we'd talk about what it means to be alive, and how he is alive. So then sometimes he would say "that's baby Owen and I'm alive" or "baby Owen didn't die." And it's so hard to have him have to say that. Because that's the way it is. Other than him, all of my babies die. My next ultrasound isn't for over a week still. I just don't know how we're going to get through the next 20-30weeks.

Upcoming Appointments or Milestones: next Wednesday 7/23 is our next ultrasound

GTKY -- On this date waaay back in 1876 baseball's first no hitter was pitched! Are you a sports fan? What's your favorite sport/team? I'm. It really a sports fan. I follow my hometown college football team the most (michigan) and that's basically just checking to see who won each weekend.

Pregnancy Loss Background (if this is your first time on the check-in): Ectopic with right tube rupture/removal in Aug/Sep 2013; chemical in May 2014

EDD (if this is your first time on the check in):  3/20/2015

    Gestation in weeks/fruit: 4 weeks / poppyseed

How are you feeling physically? Emotionally? Physically, a little queasy and very tired! Emotionally, cautiously excited!

Upcoming Appointments or Milestones: Just passed the milestone of furthest I've made it into a pregnancy without bleeding - yay!

GTKY -- On this date waaay back in 1876 baseball's first no hitter was pitched!  Are you a sports fan?  What's your favorite sport/team? Not a big one, but my favorite team are the Baltimore Ravens. My husband and I just bought our first home last week and are moving from DC to Baltimore. Should be exciting!

First time joining the check in!

    EDD: 3/11

    Gestation: 5w6d

How are you feeling physically? Emotionally? Just sore boobs and fatigue for me. Emotionally, I'm trying to stay positive and not freak myself out with every little thing.

Upcoming appointments or Milestones: First appt with ultrasound isn't until TEN weeks. Feels like forever.

GTKY: Not a big sports fan. I usually get into college basketball around March Madness. Go Orange!

    ETA: Hugs @tumbleweed123‌

ETA2: Loss History: I had a natural miscarriage @ 8 weeks 8/2012. Sorry I didn't add this before, but my brain isn't working too well.

I'm so sorry you had such a scary appointment! Right around the 6 week point is always so iffy about seeing the HB. It could just be too early.

Oh wow. Fx that you're just measuring a little behind. With my oldest we were also sure of dates because we did femara. I had my u/s at 6w6d and while there was a heartbeat, they said it was so faint that if we had been there the day before, we wouldn't have seen it.

    EDD: 4/7/2014

    Gestation in weeks/fruit: Sweet Pea

How are you feeling physically? Emotionally? Physically I am exhausted!  I am only a tiny bit nausea and this only when I eat too much.  My boobs are super duper sore!  Emotionally I am a nut case!  I go from being calm and ok to feeling that I am for sure going to lose this baby too.  I cannot talk about the baby without having this little voice in my head telling me "only if it works out'!  I wish I could just be normal and happy and plan and not worry....but I can't.  I wish I could fast-forward in time to the 3rd trimester and pack my hospital bag and paint the nursery and rub my big belly!

Upcoming Appointments or Milestones:  I have an ultrasound on Friday.  I will be 6w6days

GTKY -- On this date waaay back in 1876 baseball's first no hitter was pitched!  Are you a sports fan?  What's your favorite sport/team?  I love the Texas Aggies!  Class of 03!  Whoop!  I also love the Texans and JJ Watt!

  • @SNLT1012 Thanks for doing this. I hope you're feeling more like yourself soon.

@MrsLaurenandDan That is rough. I really hope things turn out differently for you and your family this time around. That is so hard and I can't even imagine.

EDD (if this is your first time on the check in): EDD was changed by one day to 3/2/15. Not surprising since I wasn't sure about my O date.

Gestation in weeks/fruit:7 weeks 1 day

How are you feeling physically? Emotionally? Physically I am feeling good.Exhausted most of the time and some nausea but other than that I'm good. Emotionally I'm doing better than I had been. Seeing the heartbeat at the u/s last week helped, but I know I'm far from being in the clear and that still terrifies me. Not much of a roller coaster now, but still some definite ups and downs.

Upcoming Appointments or Milestones: Next appointment is on 8/4 at 10 weeks. Three weeks seems like forever but at the same time the last three weeks have flown by so I just need to keep busy.

GTKY -- On this date waaay back in 1876 baseball's first no hitter was pitched!  Are you a sports fan?  What's your favorite sport/team? Yes, I am a huge LA Dodgers fan. Baseball is my bar my favorite sport, but I also watch football and we're big Denver Broncos fans.

  • My 1st "Official" appt is Aug 1, so about 2.5 weeks. Feels like I've been waiting FOREVER!

    Gestation in weeks/fruit: 5 wks/appleseed

How are you feeling physically? Emotionally? I'm constantly nauseated, and it's getting old. Had migraines for 3 days straight, but thankfully that passed. Emotionally I feel good. Of course a little nervous, but I know I'll feel better after our first u/s on the 1st and will relax some!

Upcoming Appointments or Milestones: next week is about the time we found out the bad news with the last pg. However, I have a strong feeling that this pg will be boring and uneventful :)

GTKY -- On this date waaay back in 1876 baseball's first no hitter was pitched!  Are you a sports fan?  What's your favorite sport/team? I love baseball, football and hockey, and I coach youth basketball and soccer. I love the Milwaukee Brewers, GB Packers, and the Boston Bruins!

  • @wendyld - I bow down to your tagging genius. I so suck at it, and am envious.

To all with spotting - FX it goes away soon, I am so sorry you are going through that.

Those with m/s - Here's to hoping it's short lived

Those with appts - Please keep me (us) updated on how it goes.

If I missed you - I'm thinking about all y'all, and hoping and praying for the best.
It took me like a year to do it! I was reading on my phone and typing on my work computer and then emailed it to my phone because I try to avoid social networking stuff on my work computer.

    My Ovulation Chart

  • Hello ladies. I think I tried to post my intro at some point here, but it got cut off. I am primarily on mobile, and it's a bit of a pain.

In any case, I am thrilled to be 6W4D, and am really, really, really hoping for a happy ending. My loss story is that we TTC for 3 years, finally got pregnant through IVF (2 rounds) with twin girls, and I lost them at 21 weeks!! Brutal. Insane. Terrible. Words cannot describe. But I survived, and here I am, persevering, still hoping for the best. There are days when I still cannot believe that happened to us. It left me feeling like I have ZERO control over my life. It shook my faith to the core ("Why would God allow that?" Why ME?") and I still struggle with that. It makes no sense. I learned a few things about who my real friends are, and, more importantly, who isn't a friend. I keep seeing others that have surpassed their loss milestone here and I am a little jealous because mine is so far out! So I have to just be grateful day by day that I am still pregnant, and that I am strong enough to have faith and try again. Hugs to us all. I am really hoping for the best for all of us.

  • @luckystarz I didn't know you can buy a fetal Doppler. Is it expensive? Is it bad for the baby to use it. If I had one I would use it daily. Where do you get it?
  • Hi! This is my first time checking in to this board.

Pregnancy Loss Background (if this is your first time on the check-in):

EDD (if this is your first time on the check in):

Gestation in weeks/fruit: I am 5w1d. Fruit? Do women really gauge their progress in fruit?

How are you feeling physically? Emotionally? Physically, I'm mostly fine. I have period-type cramps frequently, mostly at night, that scare the hell out of me, but otherwise I feel healthy as a horse. Emotionally? I'm a bit detached. Too many losses have ruined me.

Upcoming Appointments or Milestones: My only milestone so far was a doubling beta. My first vagiscan will be next week. They tried to get me to come in this week, but I declined. I'm not coming in until I can see a heartbeat!

GTKY -- On this date waaay back in 1876 baseball's first no hitter was pitched!  Are you a sports fan?  What's your favorite sport/team? I like football best, and tennis second. Big difference, huh? I support all Michigan professional teams... yes, including the Lions!

  • @katydid2014 I'm pretty sure I implanted ten days post IUI based on temp dip. Any idea if that's a late implantation? My guess is that's normal-- but maybe it is a tad on the late end? I just don't know anymore.
  • @MrsLaurenandDan‌ I think a week from today which will put me at 8 weeks.
