  • Oww. Probably safe, but I much prefer to be hairy...or to pluck. ;)

  • I just did mine. I am 26 weeks. I got tried of shaving it and having it grow back the next day. It wasn't as painful as I thought it would be. Give it a try, just start off with a small area if you feel uncomfortable.
  • OP, you read my mind. I've been debating about happy trail waxing for a few weeks now and was wondering what others are doing. I plucked out of desperation the other day and it took freaking forever, and basically made no difference.

I usually go to a professional for waxing because it hurts a lot less and my skin gets much less irritated, but I feel weird calling up and asking for a belly wax.

  • I am just letting the "peach fuzz" be. It is so thin and light. Not like I am showing my bare belly to anyone, DH dies get to see it.
I comment on it when he is home and he laughs.

  • I shaved mine. Cut my belly button like a dumb ass though. This innie/outtie thing is throwing me off
Oh god, the thought of that happening just gave me shivers! Your poor belly button!!!

  • I got the okay to do laser hair removal on my tummy last pregnancy, so I'm guessing waxing would be okay. The only problem is that the area is very sensitive right now so it might be a tad painful.

I did this during my last pregnancy and have been SUPER cautious around my belly button since.  But my happy trail drives me nuts and I hate it, so I shave it.  I've tried waxing and it doesn't even get it all.  Bleh.
