  • LOL, I stumbled across this article. It's literally about steaming your vag. Like shooting steam up it. I find it really odd, but I thought it would be funny to talk/discuss about it.

  • I saw this on TTGP. I still laugh my ass off over it. People do some weird shit to avoid medical treatment.

  • Vaginal steaming has also been known to ease anxiety in women as well as tackle several other health issues-

    • Irregular and painful periods
    • Vaginal cysts
    • Infertility
    • Bladder and yeast infections
    • Hemorrhoids
    • Uterine fibroids
    • Scarring from childbirth, hysterectomies and laparoscopies

    With all the pooping I've been doing lately if it helps with this I'd do about anything.

    But in all seriousness, no, no no!  I am not chancing my vag getting burned.  That is sacred ground.

  • After reading the article, it sounds a lot to me like a sitz bath, except you're squatting over it and letting the steam rise up instead of waiting for it to cool enough to soak your vag.  I did sitz baths after DS to help with my tear and they were awesome...not sure I'd want to "steam" myself though.

  • So. I don't get it. My Lush products in a bath seem much better.

  • I think it sounds pleasant too! X_X I would never go to a spa for that though. Also, my first thought was how it sounds like leftover biblical weirdness about periods being unclean or the devil or whatever.

    It made me think of Orthodox Jews (I think that's right)...if I recall women are required to take a ritual bath for 7 days in a row, until they are clean again.

  • PET-TRA-FIED of hemmies. I didn't poop yesterday and panicked. I had some coffee and an activia.... I then proceded to poo while having the nausea burps and watery mouth and sweats.
    Activia = Voms -noted

    --------- Hi! Orthodox Jewish woman here! :) We go into the mikvah once a month after our period. Not for a physical reason but spiritual. It's recognizing that when we get our period we mourn the opportunity for life that passed. Eta: mobile quotes suck.

    Mikvah that's right! I read an autobiography once about this religion and found it fascinating!
