I got a BFP last week. Yay! So I started posting on the 1st trimester board. Those ladies are so freaking snarky. Nothing like what I've encountered here (all positive). Any suggestions for a friendlier place to post?
What about pregnant after IF? I've lurked there and they seem cool.

Me 34 Him 33
Me - Left salpingo-oophorectomy at 19 due to large cyst/torsion and 2 large uterine fibroids found at age 30
Him - Borderline low sperm count (correcting through Fertility Blend supplement)
Married 8/20/2011
TTC #1 since Jan 2013
First appointment with RE 10/2013.
April 2014 - Clomid 100mg CD3-7. HCG shot CD10 IUI #1 done on 4/12/14 (CD12) ....BFN May 2014 - Break cycle to repeat saline sonogram and re-group. Travel to Kauai 5/7-5/12 (Yay!!)
June 2014 - Clomid 150mg CD4-8. HCG shot CD14. IUI#2 done on 6/9 and 6/10 (CD15-16) w/ Prometrium suppositories during TWW .... BFN
July 2014 - Clomid 150mg CD3-7. Ultrasound CD12 - 4 mature follies! HCG trigger shot CD12 AM. IUI#3 on CD13 w/ Prometrium suppositories during TWW ....BFN
July 2014 - Repeat ultrasound done to measure size of fibroid - 8x9cm (the size of a grapefruit!) Surgery referral made.
August 2014 - MRI done which revealed 2 fibroids: a 13x15cm fibroid as well as an 8x7cm one. Super freak out mode over surgery plan. OB-GYN/surgeon said surgery would most likely have to be a laparotomy (open abdominal surgery)
August 2014 - After a 2nd opinion, plan to take Lupron x 2 months to shrink fibroids then laparoscopic/robotic myomectomy. Surgery date is set for Nov 21st!
November 2014 - Robotic myomectomy done (2 large fibroids removed, mild endo found). Benched x 3 months
I loved my BMB but it takes a little while to get to know everyone. They were very supportive for the month I was there. I never really liked 1st trimester, way to many stupid questions and drama. I something wanted to throat punch a few people. I did go there for entertainment though.
Yeah I asked a question on both PAIF and 1st Tri, and I felt on 1st Tri like I was bothering them. Then again, there's more familiar faces on PAIF, so everyone's always nicer to someone they recognize.
Me 33, DH 37 -- TTC since Jan'12 -- Low AMH (0.78) & endo, SA w/ low motility IUI's 1-3 = BFN, IVF converted to IUI 4/13 = BFN IVF 1.2: 8R 6M 4F -- 2 blastocysts frozen, FET 8/15 = BFP!! Beta #s = 445;1,098; 9,545 -- EDD 5/2 -- Team Pink!
I lurk on PAIF and I find the ladies great over there....a lot of them are 3T graduates. Most of the 1st trimester ladies are the Fertiles....

Ok, I'm new to this board, so maybe this is out of line, but my suggestion would be that here isn't the place for you to post. I get it, you're looking for a board where you feel at home, but I really feel like coming back here to remind us that you're pregnant and ask where you should post is inappropriate.
TTC since July 2012 BFP 5/22/13. Lap. to remove ectopic and dx with endo. 6/16/13
RE consult: June 2014
DX: FVL, endo, hypothyroidism, blocked left tube
Oct. 2014: First treatment cycle: Clomid+trigger+IUI=BFN
Umm did you notice the BFP in the headline? Meaning don't read if it will bother you. My intention is not remind anyone of anything but to ask a question and give the appropriate warning beforehand. Thanks for your input.
Seriously? I think you missed the post where I explained that info.
Anywayyyy not try to offend anyone and definitely not trying to get into some silly online antics. So I'll be moving on to another board. Thank you to all who have been so sweet and supportive. And best of luck to all.

Umm...I did notice. I just don't understand why you'd ask a board full of women who are struggling to TTC which pregnancy board is the best fit for you. It's inappropriate.

I do remember someone (not sure if it's OP or not) saying in a thread that they referred to their SO as DH even though they weren't technically married. I think it's easier to type "DH" just because it's a quick abbreviation. I don't think she meant to deceive.
Me (29) DH (37)
Married 7/11
Actively TTC 3/12
DX: PCOS
Current treatment: Break from IUIs until after the holidays
I use DH even though me and my boyfriend aren't married. Its easier and it stop judgement people tend to make when they hear you're ttc with a boyfriend and not a husband....
On the other subject I don't really have a comment never been pregnant and I don't plan in lurking on the pregnant boards make the IF process a bit harder
I personally didn't think the women on 1st Tri were being snarky in your post- most seemed genuinely supportive and hopeful that your tests come back great (I hope they do, too.)
I assume you have a March '15 due date- if so, that board is a great place to hang out, IMO. Good luck!
The nicest pregnancy board is PAIF. You should see a lot of familiar faces over there. The PAIF board is calm and everyone is very laid back but very eager to help when they can. Birth Month Boards can be hit or miss. I'm in December 2014 and sometimes it's a complete show while other days are awesome. I lurk on the Tri boards but I very rarely post.
Married on October 20, 2012. Began trying in January 2013. RE appointment & testing December 2013 - February 2014= Unexplained IF, possible endometriosis IUI#1- March 22 (100mg clomid, 75 mg of Bravelle, Ovidrel trigger) = BFP!!!
