Now to vent: My dad has had this on again, off again girlfriend for about 3 years now. Well lately it's been off again and she's been going psycho crazy. Going to bars, seeing other guys, blah blah blah. Well she was on her way to CA to watch her son graduate from film school and decided she "needed" my dad to come "save" her because she was having horrible anxiety and all this other crap so my dad flies out there to be with her and has been gone for 3 wks now. Well, last week he calls to tell us they are GETTING MARRIED!!!! So, they got married on 07/11 in Vegas. Awesome. This woman has done and said some wicked shit to/about our family. Needless, I'm not very happy about it but whatever, it's my dad's life and if he's happy then he's happy.
And last but not least, my mom and brother have been staying with us for a couple of months and it's really bothering DH. He's being a complete jerk to me and we are arguing big time. Things are deft no bueno.

I am so excited because tonight is Mommy Margarita night!! I don't have any irl friends that live near me and I usually find it hard to meet other women, but ever since having babies, I've been meeting a lot of other new moms and I've been trying to get out of my social comfort zone and really make some new friends. I met this group through a woman in my prenatal yoga class. She knew the other women and they have invited me to their monthly margarita night. I can't even remember the last time I went out at night with friends, and without DH.
ETA: Good luck with all of your work tasks! Hire all of us. We will show them all how it's done!

Today, I started my period, and I want to eat all the things and curl up into a ball and sleep.
Also I took my final exam today and I'm feeling so relieved. I'm having a drink when this kid shuts his eyes for the night. And TV. There will be TV.
Andplusalso I broiled chocolate with marshmallows on top and dipped graham crackers in it. I ate lots. I might make more tonight. Cause fuck it.

No he did not admit it. I passed him at the water cooler and he was all sputtering, red faced and sweaty. I asked him what was up and he said his subway had extra jalapeños he didn't order. Lol. I walked back with him to his desk because he was asking me for advice on a project he is working on and the sandwich bag is right there in the fucking trash can.
I asked him if subway started serving ghost peppers instead of jalapeños. He knew his secret was out. So I gave him enough shitty excel work to do for the rest of the summer.
Totally one of the top 5 days of my career.

Yep. I threw it in an aluminum pie tin to avoid cleaning. Cut the marshmallows in half. Popped it in a 425* oven, remove when mallows are toasted, let stand for 5 mins, nom.
We went to a bday party for twin 3 yr olds and had one diaper, and no bottles. So we stayed about a hour in the 90° backyard and scooted our asses home, where we proceeded to #eatallthethings and plop in the inflatable pool. It was a much better evening.
I think my work/fi has given me tmj.
Im taking an extra day off to start my vacation early and I #givenofucks.
Fi stayed home from work today because he "doesnt feel well, waaah" which makes his next check 3 days light.

DS is getting his NG tube out for good tomorrow!!!!!!!! Aaaaahhh!! He has made so much progress with eating/drinking the past three weeks that we are just waiting on a phone call from one doctor tomorrow and my kid will be another step closer to being a "normal" baby. (His helmet comes off in about a month then we will be totally medical accessory free!) I will post a pic and update as soon as I can tomorrow!!

My sister goes in for her csection in 6 hrs. Im nervous and anxious and excited and thus cant sleep.weeeee.
The past few days with dd have been rough. No sleeping. No napping. Very clingy (as in we can't leave the room or put her down). Im thinking its teething. I haven't slept more than, I don't know, 4 hours combined since Saturday. Yesterday, I wake up to an eye infection. On top of my exhaustion, I refinished our garage door. My dad came over to help and he was being super helpful and just kept painting. He painted the front door and the trim too. he worked hard on it, and I'm grateful, but I hate it. I didn't have the heart to tell him so I just kept smiling and nodding.
Also, I envy those of you who go out, have friends, and have productive arguments with your husbands/spouses.
