You mix it all together, bake it in a pan until it's gooey, roll the mix into balls, and roll the balls in confectioner sugar. They are the ONLY cookie I insist upon at Christmas time.

Oh dang... this is my jam!  Apologies if I don't give just one answer. I'm a foodie!

    1) What's your favorite food?
Almost any type of Sushi--oh how I miss my spicy tuna rolls and yellow tail sashimi.
I also LOVE mashed potatoes, and just about all types of Southern Cooking!

    2) Favorite meal?
Country/Chicken Fried Steak with gravy and Mashed Potatoes (made with cream cheese).

    3) Favorite comfort food?
Country/Chicken Fried steak with gravy and Mashed Potatoes (made with cream cheese).  Yeah... I LOVE southern cooking.

    4) Favorite restaurant?
Mahe (sushi) in Dana Point, CA or San Shi Go (sushi) in Laguna Beach.  Also love a place in Irvine called Tender Greens.  They have AMAZING fried chicken and mashed potatoes.

    5) Favorite recipe to make?
Pioneer Woman's Corn Chowder with Chilies... holy cow is this stuff AMAZING! I can eat bowls and bowls at a time.
Pioneer Woman's Creamy Mashed potatoes.  Butter. Check. Cream Cheese. Check. Best Mashed Potatoes EVER?! Check.

    6) What recipe do you hope to pass on to your LO?
I have way too many cook books to even be able to select just one recipe. I collect them.  See my photo, this is about half of my collection (and does not incldue my two plus years worth of monthly subscriptions to Bon Appetit.

ETA: Also worth noting, for anyone cooking Thanksgiving this year (or urging someone else to do so)... Pioneer Woman's A Year of Holidays cook book is AMAZING.  I made the turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes and stuffing all from her book.  Seriously, probably not in the least bit healthy, but SO GOOD!!

Pioneer Woman makes the tres leches cake recipe and the pecan pie recipe that I love to make. She makes everything so easy! I can't get on board with cream cheese in mashed potatoes, though.
