I had a beautiful baby shower today hosted by my aunt. Part of her gift was a set of Thank You notes that matched the invitations and a list of all the addresses for everyone who was invited. I thought that was a genius idea and such an easy thing to do as a hostess. I will definitely be doing that for all the showers I host in the future. It is making writing thank you cards so much easier and a lot less work for me since I don't have to hunt down addresses. Could easily do for baby or bridal showers. Just thought I'd share!

The recent discussion on having guests address the envelopes. Like I said, I'm not the etiquette police and I would happily address the envelope, but here's the thread for reference.
Like @Conradgallagher I have no problem filling out the envelope, but other people do, so be forewarned and/or know your audience.
Edited because words are hard.

Agreed, I don't mind addressing my own envelope, but when I get thank-yous from showers, I really appreciate thoughtful ones. Hand-addressed by the honoree, and with more than a sentence or two on the card. I always make it a point to spend a few minutes on a thank-you note to make it count, so I appreciate when others do as well. I mean, these days any thank-you note is nice, but the ones that obviously took a few minutes really stand out.
