Boy: First name to go with MN "Ace"

I have chosen the middle name, Ace, after my great-grandfather.

DH and I are having trouble with a first name.  The name we really like is Cole.

Cole Ace= Colace.

Ummm....NO!!! Not going to work.  Any suggestions on a unique first name to go with Ace?  I want something unique, but not too funky.

  • It's trendy, but what about Colton Ace? Cole for short.

That's a great idea.   I like the way you're thinking!  My DH's best friend is Colton, so that probably won't fly with DH.  But I like the idea of using Cole has a NN to a longer name.  I didn't think of that!

How about Colby Ace?? I don't think Colby is overused and Cole still works as a nn!! I think Colton and Colby are about it for longer names that Cole can come from.

    Some other suggestions:

    Benton Ace
    Bodhi Ace
    Cooper Ace
    Declan Ace
    Gideon Ace
    Griffin Ace
    Joaquin Ace
    Kai Ace
    Koen Ace (Cohen/Kohen)
    Luca Ace
    Mateo Ace
    Milo Ace
    Rowen Ace
    Theodore (Theo) Ace
    Tobias (Toby) Ace

  • I've known a Nichole to use Coley as a NN, so maybe Nicholas would work. Nicholas Ace though... I don't know
  • Love your suggestions, ladies!  I will talk to the DH about these.
