I'm a CPA in public accounting. This baby will make tax season interesting for sure! I've told 2 people recently I'm a CPA and one thought I meant CPS (child protection services) and one thought I meant CNA (nurse). Is a CPA really not a well-known acronym? Evidently not, lol.
1st grade teacher...DH teaches 3rd grade at the same school, so we are excited for the reactions of everyone when we tell! I wish I could SAH but living on one teachers salary just isnt possible
I am a SAHM and teach violin lessons out of my house on Thursdays. I also gig occasionally if it's interesting, though I quit the orchestra I was playing with when I had DS because I didn't want to be away in the evenings from him.
Women's health nurse practitioner -- I'm currently working in family planning/gyn & absolutely love it! Almost became a midwife until I decided I was too high strung for that, hah! Still very passionate about birth & the fail that we call maternity care in our country.
High school math teacher and cheerleading coach (hopefully not for too much longer)...needless to say I'm every high schoolers' favorite teacher since math is so popular
Just had to say I love all of the diverse jobs here, so interesting to see all of the different backgrounds. As for me, I'm a University student pursuing my Neuroscience/Microbiology degree and enjoying the SAHM flexibility it gives me... Unless it's finals of course lol
It's fascinating to see all the different paths here! I started my dream job about 10 months ago after many years of searching and trying to figure out where I fit - I'm a Wish Coordinator for a charity that grants wishes to seriously ill kids. It's incredibly rewarding but also more demanding than anything I've ever done so I'm not sure I'll be able to return to it after mat leave. (It can be hard enough to take care of myself while still balancing the demands... So I'm trying not to panic about that!!)
I am a third grade teacher. I love working with kids. Each day is a fun adventure and they are always making me laugh. Summers home with my baby are a added plus!
I'm a 3rd grade teacher too! They are great. It's my favorite grade to teach so far.
I'm a 5th grade math teacher! Love those kids and after despising math for YEARS, one college professor turned it all around for me and it's my favorite subject to teach (but not their favorite to learn-yet!).
I'm a psychotherapist in private practice; I just recently joined a group practice in May after spending the 2 years prior as a clinical therapist in community mental health. :-)
I worked in Special Education and recently received my teaching certs, actually have two interviews for elementary ESE positions tomorrow! Thank goodness I am not showing yet!
I run a women's shelter. And I invented post it notes. Ok only one of those is true. I'm super impressed by all of the stellar women just kicking ass at life. Well done ladies.

I'm a math teacher too! Due on Pi Day
I teach high school though...they just about all hate math by then haha
I'm a part time SAHdogmom (4 sibes) and my husband and I own a car dealership, rental properties, and we were starting up my wedding/event planning business till this alien came along. It's on the back burner for now while we finish all the projects in our house since our friends think we are having a "house warming" party in the fall. (Haha)
I am a teacher, coach, Younique and Nerium presenter, and a Surro. Surro isn't necessarily a "job", but it definitely takes up every waking hour of my day!!
Re: GTKY- What do you do for a living?
haha! You would be surprised how many people think the complete OPPOSITE! There is never a dull moment though..
