ugh, dh just called and said he has to work another hour. I really want to shower and I hate going in without him. I keep thinking I'm going to slip and there won't be anyone to catch me. Is that totally irrational?

I would not even be able to fit in the shower with a second person. LOL. Let alone let DH see me naked now a days. I am scared of falling too. A couple times I already lost my balance.

Not totally, considering how far along you are. I won't take a shower if I'm home alone, and I won't go up or down stairs either if i'm alone. So i guess i'm irrational too

I had DH invest in a super non-slip shower mat months ago to keep me from slipping & sliding around in there. I was terrified of falling & I've been super off-baIance lately. But I hate sharing my hot water --- so no showers with DH for now -- plus I doubt there's room for me, DH & my ginormous belly in there right now.

Not irrational at all I fell the other day in the shower. We have a walk in shower and I was getting in and slid all the way across to the other side. I kept thinking dont fall on my belly. I did hurt my self pretty badly and now I wont take a shower w/o DH at least in the bedroom to help me in and out.

You need those sticky things that you put on the bottom of the tub so it's skid-proof. DH just bought a double shower head so we can both be in there together and both have hot water. However, my belly is getting to be too large, so there's really not room for both of us.

I shower home alone all the time because DH leaves for work before I get up. However, I did make him lift me out of the bathtub because I was afraid to fall. I hope he gets home soon for you!

Maybe I'll him get some sticky things on the way home, that may be a good idea.

OMG, me trying to get in and out of the bathtub is much more dangerous than standing in the shower. LOL. I'm like a beached whale.

I barely fit in the tub anymore. . . . I've always had long legs (odviously always) but now I barely fit in other ways too . . . . Getting out was soooooo not pretty the otherday I had to rock myself onto my side then get on all fours and then gently get out! Not a pretty picture by any means!
